  1. Nope, we'll be at MBA for the Clinic Bowl. Ah, I can hear our potential audience dropping because of this announcement now (not that it was going to be that high to begin with).
  2. Could you be talking about that high school site that I worked very hard for, for many months, and the day I was to be paid they filed bankruptcy? Would it be that same site, you think, that owes me $1,100 from a time period when $1,100 meant a lot to me? I wonder how many people in the whole USA they also owe money to? The day I get paid is the day they are welcome on this site again. Wow, sorry to hear that. That really sucks. Give it 5 more years, and a certain local dairy company might join them (and I don't mean Blue Bell).
  3. Just got the word from MyTV30 that, due to today's bad weather, what a certain High School site is calling the Game of the Week for the whole U.S. of A., has been moved to Saturday night. It will still kick off at 7, and the game will still be televised. Edit: Now word from Ensworth: http://www.ensworth.com/podium/default.aspx?t=204&sdb=1&nid=487005&bl=/default.asp
  4. Our main page is middletennesseesportsnetwork.com, but our games are broadcast at mtsn.youcastr.com.
  5. The Middle Tennessee Sports Network just picked up three more high school football broadcasts for the season. Unfortunately, I can't enter the link on the scoreboards for those days, because the way to enter sources has changed, and we aren't on the list of sources. Please place MTSN on the list of audio sources, so we can put these links up. Thank you.

  7. Can't forget the Lady Warrior Southern Invitational, which is usually the last weekend in March.
  8. Thanks to everyone who listened in to our live coverage of Game 2. We had 48 live listens on Saturday during the nightcap (actually, 49, but Craig was checking to make sure we were getting through, so we don't count). That's compared to just 6 during Game 1. I guess it helps to promote, doesn't it? /rolleyes.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="rolleyes.gif" /> Anyway, the last few days were quite good for us. We had 12 live listens during the Blackman-Riverdale game on Thursday night, and 23 during the Siegel-Blackman game on Friday. Someone I forgot to thank at the end of our 'cast on Saturday was a YouTube member named Wielzen28. He posted the music I used while reading the starting lineups on games which I worked by myself. And thanks to the men who composed that piece, Klaus Doldinger and Giorgio Moroder, for the 1984 film The Neverending Story. And thanks as well to The BBC, who used that piece while displaying the starting lineup for their older Formula 1 coverage, which inspired me to use it for our 'casts. Michael

  10. We are at Riverdale, and Siegel just beat the Lady Warriors 3-0 in 9 innings in game 1 to force the winner-take-all game 2. Our coverage starts at 7:25 PM at mtsn.youcastrsports.com/live. Michael Edit: 7:30 is the start time.

    7AAA tournament

And then on Tuesday, the brackets will split; the top half (Riverdale, White County, Oakland and Cookeville) will play at Riverdale, and the bottom half (Siegel, Warren County, Blackman and Lebanon) will play at Siegel, with everyone reconvening at Riverdale Wednesday.

    7AAA tournament

Games postponed again. The new bracket will be up by 3 PM today.
  13. Riverdale's website: riverdalesoftball.com. The bracket is there.
  14. Another broadcast later today at 2:45 PM. It's the rematch with Oakland. After the thriller with Riverdale, I don't see this being as good a game. Michael
  15. Hello, all. We were supposed to have broadcast 3 Blackman softball games by now, but the weather has left us at one. Tonight, we finally get our second under our belt. MTSN's coverage begins from Riverdale at 6:45 PM Central. You can listen live at mtsn.youcastrsports.com/live. It's free to do so. This is the first of four games in four days for us. Our full schedule is located at mtsn.youcastrsports.com. During our Oakland broadcast last month, we had a situation with Firefox where it would kick us off the air every now and then. If this happens tonight, it should take us around 10 to 30 seconds to get back on the air, so please bear with us. We hope you will be live with us tonight, tomorrow, Monday and Tuesday. Thank you. Michael Hackney MTSN
  16. Hello. I'm co-founder and lead broadcaster of the Middle Tennessee Sports Network, a brand-new, online only radio network devoted to area sports. Tomorrow night is the first of 5 broadcasts of Blackman softball, starting with their matchup with Oakland. Our coverage begins at 5:45 PM Central time, with the first pitch being thrown at 6. I know that our YouCastr page says 5:45 PM EST, but YouCastr's clock is funky, so ignore that. Here is the link to our live page, so you can listen to the game as it's happening: http://www.youcastr.com/casts/listen/1805 If you can't listen live, then it will be on our main page as soon as we're off the air: MTSN's YouCastr page Listening either live or on-demand is free. Thanks in advance for listening, and let's hope the weather holds up. If you have any other questions, I will be happy to answer them in this thread. Michael Hackney Middle Tennessee Sports Network
