They had to move up b/c they are illegally recruiting when they are not suppose to playing in the Public school classification. That is not truly the reason but the fact of geographics is the reason they are playing out west, the illegal recruiting sounds better with kids going to Catholic that parents cant afford it and boosters are offering to pay for the kids to go there is just rediculious and noone is doing anything about it yet!!!

Speaking of coaches leaving Halls there are a couple others that are wanting to get out of there this year before Julian was offered the job and I know that for a fact!!! Talking about Julian taking the Catholic job I do not blame him for taking the money and maybe the oppurtunity to have the HC job there. Also I played for Julian at good ole Halls and he is committed to the game, but he is committed to his family first and fore most. The money is a considerable difference when you consider Pemberton left and was making about 90g's as the HC so I would not discount the DC making about 75g's. Julian is a good DC but maybe just not wanting to deal with the Halls crap anymore!!!

How good will Central be this year now that some of their youth will be older and more developed and from what I have heard is that they have gotten quite a few newcomers(as inn transfers) that will help them this year? What do you all think honestly?

That schedule is front end loaded and I think Alcoa could be one of the best teams in the state in any class. I also think that Fulton has the same if not more question marks at key positions(QB,WR,OL?)...So this year could be really similar to last year except I think they will win 2 more games...As far as AE I think they could be really tough and the annual AE-Central scrimmage is this spring and it will be a good one for both teams.

How good do you all expect Oak Ridge to be with Blade as the new coach? Contender this year or will it take a few years?

I think are really good with their young players but until they decide to get the offensive line to block or the players decide to block then good luck but they did have a good freshman team. That is a good class to rebuild with if they can keep them out of trouble.

The playing both ways is a better idea because the Houser kid should be playing CB or safety and this would be his best position if he played that.

Cak will be competitive again and they have a WR in Blake Houser that is a gamer and they will have a young QB. but they will be ok.

I agree with you all that Cath. is good but they are getting ready to play Maryville and Farragut and Bearden year in and year out so we will see how good they are and the wing-t is not going to win in that division with those defenses.
