You truly are delusional and need to get a better understanding of what a good team or program truly is. You're correct you are done here...you were done when you said History of a program does not matter.

Ok no more scrimmages and Im not counting JV...the Varsity score this year was 1-1! And no more scrimmage talk since the last time we played we BEAT WEST...did you get that WE WON...and WE WOULD BEAT YOU ALL AGAIN!!!

Ok so you are telling me that West did not want to beat a team that they absolutely hate and a team that West has only beaten 3-4 times since Joel Helton has been at Central...ok sure...and all I am going to say is the last time they played when it matteres Central won...thats it...and by the way Idk who you get your info from but the Scrimmage this spring was 2-2 and West scored on the last play of the Varsity scrimmage and made a good play. Other than that they hardly even moved the ball. Last spring the score was 5-3 Central and if you would like I could get some film of both. When you get tired of being mediocre and thinking winning 5 games a year is a big deal then post on here again, if not, Shut UP!

Well RR...since scrimmages are losers I guess West is a power house since they won so many games and the last time Central played West in season the Cats won! Let's compare the last 10 years and if Central hadn't had to play Maryville for 4 straight and lose by 7 pts or less in all but 1 game they would have 4 State Titles!

Coco...The basketball coach left for ministry at Grace Christian and Basketball coach...the baseball coach left for family time and DC left for health reasons to get his health in line...and Supercat football also hired Joe Hassell and Tobi Kilgore and this may be the best staff at CHS in a few years and their are 2 grads on staff!

Who will win AE or FHS because both seem to have all the young talent they had a year ago is now a year older and this Senior class at Fulton is suppose to be their return to glory and the Juniors at AE are suppose to be the best class they have had top to bottom in 10 years...who has the upper hand this year? I think this year for Fulton goes along way to how they will be for several years to come?

Is Phillips your nephew...if so great hire and he really seems to know what is going on and know his stuff when it comes to QBs and seems to be a good guy from what I hear from the Central Coaches! I hear that Central could be much improved this year and will be really tough next year when they will return about 9 defensive starters and 8-9 offensive starters...with a freshman class that is coming in that will be tough this year and next on varsity level...also I am hearing that their 8th grade class has some talent in it as well and the class under them is loaded!!! Things looking better on the Dark Side!

Ok wellthx Scots...I didn't criticize the game or the kids or the idea...I. criticized the motives of the game and the people behind it. But since u know what goes and ur kid made the team u had a great time...how pissed would be if hadn't made the team. Cya RTF thx for all the info and the ammo about the money and the officials that are behind this and what really makes this thing go...and how much do u pocket since its "all about the kids"...anyway I hope u sleep well at night and make sure u don't slip cause it won't be P&R u need to worry about it will be TSSAA...so make sure u have facts straight because the "Officials" will come calling sooner or later...as soon as someone doesn't get things the way they should they will have to stick someone and we will see who goes down...u may know the local yocals but we will see what they with TSSAA? We have about 8 teams committed already and look to have about 12 so we can manage it and I think it would be good for any team to get the extra passing practice! We have the same contacts but thanks and I am sure you have the Youths phone #s

Im not saying that Central is the "Best team in town" you are saying that about West...no we havent yet we have beaten West 2 years in a row in Scrimmages! But that doesnt matter does it...loosing scrimmages has no grounds to say you may loose in the season...they do for your knowledge we did not win a fall scrimmage and therefore we went 2-8! And I am comparing the Bottom of the regions since West is at the Bottom of the Region and is Central, Halls,Powell, and Maryville and Farragut are really good teams and Maryville is of the Elite and CHECK HISTORY, it matters in Maryville!!! You need to get a clue...compare the records and ask anyone in Knoxville if you say Central, Halls, or Powell and then mention West and see what is said! History matters for a program if not then why does Maryville keep getting the players...because they won in 1996 and are still winning! West has no history so you dont talk history of a program!

OK RTF...I have no clue about the tournament...I know Money Talks and BS walks...thanks for clearing that up and making me now say it...well anyway if you are following all the rules then play in the Sanctioned league...and Central may not have competed in that league IDK...but they were beaten only bye that Powell team and no one else so I dont know how they would faid in that league...but Central Middle team is playing in your Tourney this year and I will be there to watch and cheer them on and thx. By the way I just heard that one of the Little league programs that was recruiting is folding because the fact of the commissioners that said they would not play them anymore! Lets not get into too much on here...I know more than you think I know and I do know the Owner of the Rental properties if Whittles area that they use when the transfers to Fulton are denied...I do know that Project Grad is about to be thrown out of the budget so what is going to be put on the transfers then? I dont have kids living with me and if that helps the kid then great...like I said you need recognition...here you go here is your pat on the back for raising all that money for the city! I dont raise money for the city. But when you get back to reality and start owning up I will be their when the empire falls...I will say I told you so!!! You think you know about what I know but you have no IDEA!!!

Tell me how West is the best team in Knoxville...best of what Basketball or Track...not football...period...history makes a program...go back 10 years and lets compile the records of Powell, Central, Halls, Clinton, AC, and then lets compile Lenoir City, Heritage, West, and Catholic...Catholic is the only that would even keep your region with the teams name from sinking...and you can throw Bearden in as well they have only 3 good years!

Very funny post!! What about players "living" with coaches at an "un-named" school you forgot to mention that; thats another good discussion!!! But I won't comment.. We DON'T go out and get whatever kid we want for the 8th Grade team, surprisingly to u maybe but kids want to WIN! No its not all about winning but kids don't understand that. The kids come to us!!! There are NO rules that say you can't have certain kids on your team in the Knoxville 13/14 y/o league - if so show me the rules. We're not breaking any rules I can assure you!! Majority of our 8th Grade players are Fulton zoned year after year. I can't help we have the top 8th Grade program in town; unlike alot in our area we aren't afraid to play the top competition, that just may be a reason as to why the kids want to play with us. With what all we do at the 8th Grade level versus what others in Knox Co do, who wouldn't want to come play at our program - its like a Mercedes versus a Toyota. Your going to get exposed to much better competition and NO "daddy ball" nor "daddy" coaches like majority in our league. Btw, Cat if it were about winning to me; I can assure u I wouldn't play the toughest teams in the Southeast year after year. Because we have wore home some @$$ whippins over the years but guess what we got better b/c of it. To me our goals are to prepare them for the next level and we do that by exposing them to the best competiton out there. I assure our kids are MUCH more ready for high school ball than any other 8th grade program in town. Look at how many of our players STARTED VARSITY as 9th Graders (and no not just at Fulton) we have former players all over town. We're not trophy hunters like alot in our town. As far as giving away cleats and other stuff, included in our fees is alot of team apparel and cleats so technically they pay for them (we build all the cost into the fees). We have the highest fees of any team in Knoxville u can ask our parents they'll be the first to say that but in turn no team gets more stuff than ours either. We are unpaid coaches who are trying to make a difference in inner city kids lives. Sorry u think thats negative but we're going to keep doing what we're doing; we're not breaking any rules. Good luck to you this year, hopefully u guys can get the ship sailing in the other direction like it use to be for so long. I'll be rooting for my former guys who are on your team, theres several... Well lets not get into name dropping RTF because I assure you, you dont want to that!!! The kids living with coaches were from Lonsdale and their mother was sick and since passed away so not argument their! Do you really want me to start naming names of kids that were not zoned for Fulton High that you had on your team this year...I dont think you want to go there!!! And if it is about winning them why did all these kids not play for Central or Powell middle teams...there is not a team in town that would have beaten that Powell team this year and there is no argument there! So you tell me is it legal for a head coach to go sit in a kids living room and talk about coming to another school when that kid is not zoned for their school and by the way they did not go. There are things in writing and just waiting on some more things to get this thing worked out and I do not think you want to go to the details and start talking about kids that are out of zone...that would not be on your side!!! So why do you all play in the Independent league again? Better competition...right!!! So that Powell team and That Central team that played for the Ship were just average...and Carter and Catholic were just head and shoulders better than those teams...please. I know where the funding comes from and so do about 10 other league commissioners and the "BOMB" is about to drop at Parks and Rec...I am just going to stand back and enjoy the show. Let me say this I am all for the kids and have coached before, but at what expense do these unpaid coaches coach for a different program than where they grew up...why? What is in it for those guys that do not have kids...If you knew half of what I do for kids it would blow your mind but I dont need a pat on the back!

Well the lack of PT from a Kid at Grace is exactly why that investigation started and that is a matter of time for 1 of the Parents to turn on these coaches and start to talk when some of those promises fall through and I know that some of the league commissioners are refusing to play the teams that they know are out recruiting and this will only hurt that coaches reputation!

Yeah well I can say this that I know several little league and Middle School coaches that know what is going on and they are waiting for the slip up or the 1 parent or kid that gets mad that does not get to play and wants to talk...it is right around the corner!!!

I meant 96,06,07...does that Constitute a Great or even Good program...so what you are saying is that Central has beaten West the other 15 times(lets 15-3 record against West) is that still the facts you want to put out there...who won the last time they played? Oh yeah Central...and y their record last year was 3-7, Clinton, Lenoir City, and Heritage...the South game was not a win...that would be like me saying that Central was the best team in town last year at 2-8 but had the lead in 7 of the 10 games they played in! So I dont know where you are from or how long you have been keeping up with Knoxville Football but West is not it and they will not be this year!!! So I am still a fool? Give me some more facts and I will shoot them down again! Look at their record for 10 years and lets compare them to lets say the 5A teams in town the last 10 years!

Tell me how these schools are getting away with recruiting and getting kids to put transfers in as 8th graders and then getting kids to leave their high school they are currently go to another local area Knoxville High school? Fulton is doing something that is getting them bye and they have some help downtown or something...just heard that another local player from Bearden leaving and that makes 2 years in a row that a starter at Bearden is leaving to go to Fulton? Something fishy here? Also tell me how Fulton Middle School football team is allowed to go out and get whatever kid they want and provide them with cleats and other material and pay for out of town games and then they end up going to Fulton High School and they are not zoned for Fulton...because the Fulton Middle School coach knows if he had to play with Fulton kids he would not even have a team and if he did they would not be able to win! This stuff needs to be talked about and something needs to be done!!!

7on7 weekend flag tournament July 30th,31st, and Aug. 1st Central and Gresham fields Free team entry 11yr old teams, 12 yr old teams and 13-14yr old teams, also sanctioned Middle School teams are welcome. $6 gate or $10 weekend pass Contact Steve at 454-2199 This will be a great experience for these young guys and will also be big for the coaches to see if they are going to be able to throw the ball.

I agree totally and think the dead period should be the last week in May and the first week in June...so that teams can continue to build their team and practice without the break.
