Sevier Co
South Doyle
Seymour
Cherokee
Cocke Co
Jefferson Co
Morristown East
Morristown West
All this info is on TSSAA for the new Districts. Anybody that is keeping up with High School Sports should keep that web site handy!
OOPS...sorry! I would be "wise" to get your name right!

Where do you go online to find the All-District teams and who announces them and when? Anyone know?
District 4 AAA was in Knoxville News sentinel today
-
Knoxville scores were Farragut over Halls 17-2 and Bearden over Powell 7-2. Any others?
-
Farragut 17 -2 over Halls, Bearden 7 -3 over Powell
-
Farragut over Halls 17-2, and Bearden over Powell 7-3. Nice job District 4
-
I agree, I think most expect Farragut and Bearden to move on, but I think the Powell-Bearden game will be a good one. I wouldn't be surprised if Powell came out on top. These teams should be fully-rested, so we should see the aces on the hill for all 4 of these teams.
The box scores from this last week showed that Bearden and Halls each played more games than Farragut or Powell. I think Bearden used Potter to get by South doyle and Halls probably used up Burton. Any thoughts>?

Congratulations to both Farragut and Bearden on their Region Berths! Go make D 4-AAA Proud like I know you will do!
I would also like to thank all the teams in 4AAA for a Great year of very competitive baseball! Every school shows Great spirit & pride! I wish you all the Best of Luck in the future! It has been a PRIVILEGE getting to play in this District with all the Quality Teams in it!
South Doyle and us, Sevier Co, will be traveling to a new District next year, but I have to say again, it has been a privilege being involved in District 4AAA!
Good Luck and God Bless!
what will the new districts be Solo Mom?

In District 3, its Halls and Powell. Play for seeding today.
In District 4 its Bearden and Farragut. Play for seeding today
-

How is this tournament shaping up?
-
if they can't get all the games in will they just let the teams whom are left in the winners bracket proceed to the next round?
It is my understanding that if they get get down to two teams before the region is scheduled, then the TSSAA would revert to regular season standings. I dont think thats a real possiblility since they have until sunday to get the games finished.

This looks like the correct seeds....so....
Farragut vs LC (1 vs 8) @ Farragut
Bearden vs WB (2 vs 7) @ Bearden
Maryville vs Heritage (3 vs 6) @ Bearden
SD vs SC (4 vs 5) @ Farragut
I heard the losers swap brackets. Is this right?
Farrgut won
Bearden won
Maryville won
South Doyle won
Two teams eliminated today (assuming no rain) and two teams left undefeated.
Predictions????

Pigeon Forge and Gibbs (especially when they get the "TAJ MAHAL" finished) are two of the nicest around including Catholic. Seymour is nice but it is not as nice as the ones mentioned above. CAK is OK nothing great there are several much nicer. AC's playing surface is pretty good but has started to go down hill a little since Downs took over. Farragut is definitely the nicest surface and a great place to watch a game.
I would normally agree on the Farragut surface you mention above, but this year, for what ever reason, the Farragut infield is a little rough. I think Catholic and Bearden have nicer surfaces this year
-
Looks like Knox area teams got about Half the games in. Winners included Central over Hardin Valley, Powell over West, Karns over Oak ridge and Halls over Clinton in district 3 AAA. Farragut over Lenoir City, Bearden over William Blount, Maryville over Heritage, and South Doyle over Sevier County in District 4 AAA. I think rain outs at CAK and Anderson Co will be made up today.
Other winners, Pigeon Forge over Gatlinburg Pittman.

KNS reported the two Bearden kids committed yesterday. Potter to Mars Hill, and Copeland to LMU. Two pretty good pitchers to two pretty good SAC programs
-
Farragut, Bearden and Science Hill look strong from the East.
-
While Bearden has played well in Knoxville this season and exceeded most expectations, I still think Farragut is the team to beat in the Eastern part of the state. I would have FHS number 2 in state and BHS number three in the state. Not a bad district to have two teams ranked that high!!
-
I have to agree with Friendzzzz...these guys have wone it too much not to expect them to make another deep run this year
-
Who has the most K's in a single game. Hayes Britt with Germantown (23-7) had 14 K's over Cordova (20-5) last night
I think Pfeifer at Farragut had 16 one time this year
-
congrats to Central on their winning streak
Bearden at Farragut Regional Championship?

I like Farragut in this one too. I think one thing that seperates Farragut from most teams is pitching depth. I am assuming both teams will save their two "aces" for Friday. so at best, this a 3 vs 3 matchup, but probably a 4 vs 4. Farragut's pitching depth has to be a huge advantage when you get that deep in the rotation.
