Did i mention that he was 1st team all region jr-sr yr, all state sr yr, MVP of the TN-KY BORDER BOWL on defence, 2009 MURPHY FAIR REGION 2-3A ALL ACADEMIC TEAM,selected to both ALL STAR games, so why are being so negetive torward that kid? If his act was so bad then why did Brian Kelly the head coach of cinncinatti bearcats, a team who just lost to virginia tech in the orange bowl, call his dad at work to offer him, only to find out had all ready signed. Act must of not been that bad to get offers like that!

96 team was not blessed with great team speed 01 was! 02 and 96 team, that would be a game to see both teams played out to hurt you

by far the 01 team would beat your 95 and 97 team the 96 team would be a great game speed vs power the 02 and the 96 team would be a hard hitting affair and that would also be a great match up but the 01 team had more team speed than 95-97 and the 02 team

once again how many teams won it all from that region in that 3yr period! your 96 team was good, and did a awesome thing by beating cleveland, but no way, on gods green earth they would of ever pulled off what the 01 team did to fulton! remember this the 96 team put AC on the map, but the 01 team put it back on the map! it would be great to see them play each other, but at the end of the day were all still part of the herd!

If that 4a region was so great! how many state championship did those teams from that region win? 2001 A-E, 2002 Fulton lost ,2003 Fulton won. 3yrs 01-03 two teams won it, and one played twice in it, and your goin to try to compare that with your so called great 4a region? i was part of a mircale, the only team as county champs, a region champ, 3rd and 2nd round playoffs and finished top 3 in the state, and set and broke more school records than those teams ever did. oh! we were also the only team to go UNDEFEATED @ HOME IN 02!

dude how come the 01 team set every offencive record other than the rushing part! Your teams are good, not great. probably in two years combine the 01 team still would have at least half the offencive yards. did i mention that we also broke ticket sales also.

Rodney is a great guy, i know him personally. I think Chad Coleman broke it his sophmore yr. against Dennis Rogan fulton falcons. He had 23 tkls 1sk and 1 int. i do remember rogan didnt do much that game and the 1st play coleman came out late in the 4th qrtr he raced 95yrds untouched. I believe the only way to settle the debate would be an ol' timers game 97 vs 01 and see who wins.

thats 4 in 2yrs compared to the 3-4 they had in 01 alone

The question, i have is this. I know the 96 team broke the nations longest winning streak, when they beat cleveland, but how can you say that they couldve pulled off, what the 01 team did to fulton? Down 36 - 14 with 2:22 to go and go to OT and win 39-36! You can make one team from 95-97 and put them in the same situation and you still wouldnt have the offencive fire power the 01 team had the defence may have been close, but the 01 team had 3-4 shut outs that yr! how many they have in 95-97?

i know i was part of that butt kicking we gave them that night, we should of won the yr before and kerr made one of his famous calls

make sure, i think in 95 they got beat like 66-7 or sumin like that. i could be wrong though.

You have no clue man! Sean Mounts was on the 02 team, but he was on the 03 team that was up 19 - 0 on A-E at half time and got beat by good old larry sitting on the ball and cost them a win. you could take those two teams and spot them 14 points and the 01 or 02 teams would beat them by 14 with the tallent those teams had. Need proof? Ask Fulton! Mounts sr. yr they went 9-3 so he wasnt the only one they had!

Man! this is a hard one, i agree, with both statements, but hands down the meanest and nastiness AC team hands down, was the 2002 team with Adam Coleman, Frank Phillips, John Miller, Travis Jacks,Jordan Walker and Sean Mounts, and thats just to name a few. All those teams were great, but only that team was official county champs, by embarresing oak ridge and clinton,that yr. i know that sense that game oak ridge wont play them in a full game, and by the way the jamboress have turned out, i dnt blame them! The 95-97 team did not have much of a passing game, and that 2002 team didnt allow a completion for the 1st 3 games and didnt allow a 100 yrd rusher all yr either, gillum would have had a tough night, with coleman and jacks @ Nose and DT and walker at MLB. If the 97 team and 02 team played i say 02 team 35 , 97 team 21 thats my guess. The 09 team reminds me alot of the 02 team, just not as mean, but it would be awesome to be able to seen the coleman and rogers brothers go at it, but once again football is a tough and mean game, and the 09 team , never had an idenity were the 02 team did, but no one will never forget the heart they showed @ catholic! in a close OT thriller 02 team 24 09 team 21.
