  1. i agree Jr. Hopefully the QB competetion will bring out the best of what epperly Arnett, Maddox, and Richie have to offer. that way we know we'll have the best QB the team has to offer when we line up against Grace in..about...138 days. something like that. that should be a fun one
  2. Burton has never played rb that i know of and he's our top reciever as of now. him and houser will be a good reciever corps even w.o epperly. Mead and Scott both have some (limited) game experience but know the system well and are working hard. but if Epperly is our best bet at QB, why not have him there?
  3. i agree about Hardesty. Blackwell is the biggest kid on the team and when fresh could do some damage at DT. Maybe he could be candidate to help out Fortner?
  4. Blackwell, White, and Fortner are all candidates for the C job IMO. it would be new for Fortner but we need him on the field as much as possible. Maybe White can help him out on offense but i dont know of anybody that could help out on defense. any thoughts as to who could help out powers and fortner on the DL??
  5. i agree with this competely. Fortner will have to play both ways being one of the best players in his class in the region. C or LT on offense. spring practice'll be fun to watch. im excited to see where everybody falls in and what new names we'll have to look forward to hearing Breck Ellison call out this fall. /popcorneater.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":popcorneater:" border="0" alt="popcorneater.gif" />
  6. Redford is a DB that could greatly contribute. the coaches were high on him towards the end of last season. He's small but very aggressive and knows what he's doing out there at CB. here's the way i see it..just my opinion which dosnt matter but.... OLB's: Hardin, Maddox, McMillin, Morse Safety: Arnett CB's: Walker and who knows on the other side...maybe Redford??? with a team this small (in numbers) its all gonna depend on who Coach B thinks wins the QB job. that'll effect OLB, S, and WR spots
  7. itll all depend on the development of arrnett at qb govols. if he can become a reliable qb then epperly can go to reciever IMO
  8. yeah i agree. With at least 3 recievers on the field every offensive snap and Epperly most likely going to QB, those three will HAVE to step up. i think i remember Scott having several catches against Webb in the jv game and a touchdown against grace. Mead had a big game against grace as well. /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />
  9. thanks Jr. what do you think abt WR? i cant think of anybody with any game experience besides Houser and Burton
  10. *not the walker that played corner last year. the one that played de on the the JV*
  11. When talking about WR dont forget Mead, Scott, and Purdue from the JV last season. Also Walker had been getting better in the weight room as far as i can tell. he looks bigger. the wrist injury may set him back some but hopefully he'll be ready for at least some of spring practice. He could help out at DE in a big way IMO
