  1. Could also be 2-0 Tullahoma. The Cats have seen Stone many times, they want be intimidated.I would not bet on this game. A good one to watch though.
  2. Ok well this is the series we have waited all year for, The battle of the 2 District 8AAA powers. Tullahoma comes into the game sporting a 20-7 record 8-0 in the district. Columbia's overall record is no where to be found I think they are 14-13 or something close to that. The Lions hold a 7-1 district record with there only loss coming early in the season to Franklin Co. Tullahoma can clinch the regular season district title with one win. Both teams seem to be jelling at the right time. These two teams are pretty evenly matched across the board. Tullahoma may be a little deeper in the pitching department, but both teams bring a lot of tallent to the field. I look forward to a Justus Sheffield, Hayden Stone showdown. Tuesdays game 4:00pm. @ Columbia, Wednesday 5:30pm. @ Tullahoma. If you are a baseball fan this is a must see.
  3. Ok I have read all of the replies to my post and I still feel the same. Yes nit having the 6 turnovers were big but we would not have had them if we were running the right plays. Anybody could see the only weakness in Centennials defense was the line. They were small. We kept trying to go outside and hit the crossing paterns but they were to fast. This should have been know going in. Yes we have had some good game plans this year but most of the time it was when someone was not there!
  4. No I could not do a better job as a great man for the community and the kids. I think coach Olive is a great man; with that said I also think he has lost control of his staff. Im tired of hearing him take the blame for everything we do wrong.I don't care what you say. Poor Coaching has cost us dearly over the last few years and that's a fact.

  6. Hold on a minute. Lets remember these are just kids. I say the kids play how they are coached and I think its time for a change in T-Town. If we cant win with the talent we have then there is a problem internaly. Also we cant keep kids on the team.Next years senior class has lost 5 or six players who just up and quit. Something has to change. I agree 100% on the play calling. It has been that way all year. We should have lined up and ran right up the middle, the weekest part of their defense. The DBs and LBs were to fast, we couldnt get to the outside.I dont no if I can take another year of this!
  7. Big District 8AAA clash this Friday night. Let the talkin begin.
  8. Ok first of all I will start by saying "You Won"! But if thats how you have been winning games then I feel sorry for you and your town. A group of us Dedicated Tullahoma parents made the long trip over the mountain Friday to play Soddy Daisy for the chance to be in the state tournament and were greeted by the worse display of sportsmanship I have ever seen. The whole team was standing and chanting while we were in the field, jumping up and down, shaking ther hats and yelling at the top of there lungs. And if thats not enough the fans were even worse. They shouted insults at the players and the umpires all night long. The umpires had no control. There was 1 incident when a Soddy Batter I believe it was #6 talked back to the plat umpire after a called strike, and nothing was said. Were I come from you would be gone for that.It is ashame because there are some talented kids on that team. Soddy I can tell you this, If you bring that Bush League Crap to State they wont tolorate it. Try talking bake to one of those umps.My prediction is Soddy Daisy will be 2 and Done. If you ever make the trip up to T-Town I think you know what you can expect. GOOD LUCK
  9. Justus Sheffield LHP,CF (Freshman) Tullahoma, All district 8AAA. Justus is hitting over 400 and he has won some key games on the mound. Could be the best centerfielder in Mid. Tenn.
  10. Yes you are right he is being looked at. But not only for Baseball, he has numerous letters from coaches who are will be watching him on Friday nights. You are only a kid once play on and play all.
  11. Wow!!!!! Thats spoken from the heart. I ready to play ball!!!!This is what a team needs to become winners.Chase I am with you all the way, be a leader and help turn the Wildcats around.
  12. I agree with this 100% Binns but I would also like to add 1 thing. If you get on this post and put a lot of positive comments on how good a coaching job the Staff is doing this year, then you should also not hide behind a nickname. I do not agree with what Binns has said but at least I know who he is. Baseball is 90% mental and only 10% physical, Tullahoma Baseball has lost the Mental part and it does not matter how much physical talent is comming, we need to fix the other problems.Anyone posting negitive remarks, it should be understood that they use a nickname. 1 player has already been suspended this year for his Dads actions!!!!!!!
