Boy did I get an earful from him. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="blink.gif" /> He was complaining to me that Thursday night the team looked dead after getting upset by Fairview with a freshman in the circle and not a rousing win over Sycamore and team that has only scored one run on them in nearly 5 games. Apparently it was Waverly and Fairview undefeated going into today.
That brings my question to light ---- Of course anyone with serious sain and level head would say that all games have to be won on the ball field. So the question is if a game is rained out after 5 innings the winner is the team who is ahead...if a district tourny is rained out and cancelled (am I'm sure there are others) shouldn't the two team going be the ones undefeated?
Are the rules uniform across the state (they should be) or do the coaches decide on them?
I'd be curious to hear other opinions on this.
