the dyersburg team is coming into this state tournament with a lot of confidence and nothing to lose. no pressure is on them at all. this is their first state tournament in school history and i think the guys are ready to prove themselves. they really play as a team and feel they can accomplish anything. sure those memphis schools were not up to par teams but anybody who has to beat usj in the region to earn a spot in the state tourney has to be recognized. i hope dyersburg and dyer county can start this tournament off on fire and take care of business. because if they do, there will be one final match-up....STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!!. good luck to both dburg and dc, and to all of the teams playing.

games are cancelled.. again.

dont know how it looks but i know that dc team was working on there's today to get it ready for tomorrow.. weather doesn't look too great though

heck, tate might come back and throw the rest of the games for gibson. he threw 160 in their win against westview this year! and as for oc, i don't know if they even have a 1,2, or 3 haha

milan and gibson county will continue play at 2 tomorrow.. the location is not known yet. dyersburg will play the winner of that at 3

i cant recall what inning it was in, but when tyler slid in, it kinda made chad stumble so he pushed tyler when he was on the ground. that was just uncalled for. - just another example of dc showing no class-

forget the whole shea and mc thing. am i the only one that saw chad push tyler at second? and the umpire not even say anything to him?

there wasn't any negative remark made toward one kid. it was the possible final out and all he was saying is "this is it, out number 3" and if you want to talk about someone not having "class", talk to about most of the dyer county baseball team, because that is one thing they have lacked for at least 3 years
