This was just my observation with my kid playing on the other team. You have to give credit to the girl coming in and not giving up any more runs.

Watching the 7AA tournament tonight I noticed a team not starting their best pitcher. Don't know what is up with that? Someone needs to tell the coach that you don't wait until the other team scores 9 runs against your other two pitchers before putting in your best pitcher in the second inning. Nothing against the other two pitchers but you can't give up 9 runs in the first two innings and expect to get very far at this point in the season. Practice time is over coach.
