  1. No WHINING here! Just presenting a few questions and stating the obvious! I never wrote anything that would take away from the strength and performance of the Bucs in their ability to play football. However, maybe you should present a better argument than saying someone is whining, and present evidence that supports the fairness of the current setup if you don't want small public schools to think along these lines. This makes me think that Roane County should rotate their star players from school to school to increase winning potential and possible college scholarships. Where would you rather fish out of a pond or a lake? And do you use a regular hook to catch your fish, or do you use a special hook? What about bait, do you use a regular ol' worm, or do you use special bait to lure in the big ones? Don't be so defensive, the game is over. I'll be rooting for all of the public schools in the final rounds.
  2. The other coaches also have strong ties to the community and have passion for the game. Take notice Tigers of all of those doubting your ability to go into the Bucs' house and OWN it! You all know you can OWN that house at the sound of the final buzzer on Friday. You all know you can burst the buckies inflated egos. Remember it is better to SHOW 'em what the TIGERS are made of. Tigers, have a great Thanksgiving! Then it will be SHOW time Friday night when you INVADE the BB House. TG
  3. To the Rockwood Tigers, Remember there is something to be said about hard working, determined people. You've got strong coaches and you play for the TEAM and the school you represent. You all are tough country boys who work hard and play football hard. Go into this game with a passion for winning and never let down your guard for one second. Victory can be yours! Tigers triumph over Buckies.... GO TIGERS!!!!! TG
  4. Tigers, you all ROCK! Congratulations to the team and coaches. Nothing like a lot more ACTION and a little less talk.
  5. If my mother put on a helmet and shoulder pads and a uniform that wasn't the same as the one I was wearing, I'd run over her if she was in my way. And I love my mother." Bo Jackson "It is better to give a lick than receive one. If anybody got in my way, I tried to run right through them." Bo Jackson Honor is at stake. "Everyone is expecting me to do big things. I will. My whole body and soul are to be thrown recklessly about the field. Every time the ball is snapped, I will be trying to do more than my part...Fight low, with your eyes open and toward the play. Watch out for crossbucks and reverse end runs. Be on your toes every minute if you expect to make good. Jack." Jack Trice, Iowa State football player "No talking. Talking doesn't play football, talking isn't going to make you practice harder or play harder." Ken Simonton, OSU senior, Tigers, we know that you can walk the walk! Seems like there is a lot of BULLdogs on here talking the talk. Go Tigers!!!!!!
  6. Gooooooooooooooo Tigers! This team has worked hard and made it to the third round, there is determination and drive. Keep your eye on the prize, Tigers. Stay focused on your trip up to Hampton, play tough mentally and physically, get the job done, and come home with a win you know you can achieve. You wouldn't have made it this far if a win wasn't within your reach, so stay focused and never let your guard down. Finally, we are very proud of you! Never quit. It is the easiest cop-out in the world. Set a goal and don't quit until you attain it. When you do attain it, set another goal, and don't quit until you reach it. Never quit. Bear Bryant I'll put you through heck, but at the end of it all we'll be champions. Bear Bryant Leaders aren't born they are made. And they are made just like anything else, through hard work. And that's the price we'll have to pay to achieve that goal, or any goal. Vince Lombardi
  7. Tigers, “Show class, have pride, and display character. If you do, winning takes care of itself.” --Paul "Bear" Bryant “If a team is to reach its potential, each player must be willing to subordinate his personal goals to the good of the team.” --Bud Wilkinson “Winning isn't everything, but it beats anything that comes in second.” --Paul "Bear" Bryant May this inspire you to go out there and show those Tiger skills that you all have developed and refined all season.
  8. Congrats to the Tiger Football Team and coaches on their win.
  9. Tigers will come out on TOP! Go TIGERS! Show'em whose house it is.
  10. Way to go Tigers! Now put all your energy and focus on the upcoming game and lead Rockwood to another victory. Can anyone give us the run down of the game?
  11. The Mighty Tigers will triumph over Sweetwater on Friday night. What are your thoughts?
  12. I look forward to seeing the boys in action. I'm sure Coach Webb and the other coaches have worked hard and will continue to prepare the team for this season. Does anyone know if there is any past records of RHS Tiger football posted on the web? Older records, not just within the past few years. Tiger24fan, I sure am terrible at guessing! I was sure you were a coach or a player....... /wink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=";)" border="0" alt="wink.gif" />
  13. Yes, Jared is a freshman. Tiger24fan, did you play football with OZfootball?
  14. Are you a Rockwood coach? /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  15. Jared Breazeale will, without a doubt, pick up fumbles, interceptions, and bring down any opposition headed in his direction while keeping aware of the direction that will add 6 to the scoreboard. He will also move with lightening fast speed that will set the field ablaze as he crosses the goal line, followed close behind by a host of awesome defensive players who paved the way for the SCORE. Go Tigers, Go Go Tigers, Give Them SIX!
