In Trinitys 3 game winning streak, theyve averaged roughly 35 points on O and given up 16 on D. Those I understand Middleton is an easy stat builder. But TCA gave up 62 yards rushing to a UC team that passed the ball 3 or 4 times, and UC didnt have a 1st down in the fourth quarter until theyre last drive. And i would strongly question whether adamsville is MORE physical than UC. They are as physical, but by no means the most physical team TCA has played. Should be a great game with high emotions. Whoever wins should walk away as district champs...

TCA walked away from this one 50-14. They were up 47-14 at the half, and had their starters out by the end of the 3rd quarter, so it could have been worse. Great game by the lions tonight, should be fun to watch them for the rest of the season. Theyre healthy, and ready to go

I can understand a revenge factor if its the season after a loss, but only 1 player from TCA played in that game, and i highly doubt many players from U.C. played in that game either. I don't see the 07 loss being any factor at all in this one. Should be a great game though, and i look forward to it!

TCA should walk away 1-0 in the district after this one. How do ya'll see this one turning out?

First off i'd like to say that no one from Trinity, nor Adamsville, has even hinted to this being an easy victory. Second, i believe that Manassas may just be more physical than Adamsville. The Tigers just line the ball up and run behind there D1 lineman O.C. Brown every play of the game, and you better believe those boys are big and mean, so i believe tca was physically tested with a depleted roster. It should be a good game, but i believe the early season tests will help the lions to victory

i believe trinity will come in the district schedule much more prepared than the other teams, with games against USJ, JCS, Manassas, Union City, and McKenzie, i believe that this will help them in the district schedule, the way i see it turning out is:

1) TCA- 4-0

2) Adamsville- 3-1

3) Riverside- 2-2

4) Scotts Hill- 1-3

5) Middleton- 0-4

I just think that TCA is much improved on defense, and their offense has the firepower, when healthy, to outscore any team they face.

huge game for both teams for sure, should be a great one!

One key area for Trinity to win this game is if the D line and Linebackers can get pressure on Jake. They couldn't get to him much last year, and he made them pay for it

Should be a great game this year... More experienced, junior driven TCA team against a senior driven USJ team. Definitely look for their to be less turnovers and penalties by TCA this year. I believe they had 6 turnovers against USJ last year, in what was a first game for the majority of the players

tcaee, in my opinion that kid sounds like a quinn or a p haha. Speaking of the Trenton WC scrimmage, TCA had WR #10 at QB ( 4th string ), a 3rd string FB, 2nd string FB, 2nd string MLB, 2 2nd string guards and safetys, a freshman RT who also had to play DT because are guard/ de didnt play, and we had to move a tackle to end, him to tackle. That is in no way saying TCA is a one man team, its saying that the jv was pretty much playing the whole game opposed to trenton and wc having their varsity in the whole time... and TCA outscored Trenton 1-0, while losing to WC 2-0... absolutely no measuring stick for TCA on the upcoming season

See thats a good post, but i believe that in a real football game, even though the TOP would strongly be in yalls favor, that TCA could pass the ball to victory, kind of like they did to lexington last year. Had the ball rammed down their throat most of the game, and won on passing and turnovers

So i still dont understand where you're trying to take this. Huntingdon DID NOT turn the ball over three times in the 10 yard line, it was 1 time, and no player on the field quit on the fumble, #1 picked it up within 4 seconds of it hitting the ground, and in a real game, that means its a live ball. TCA won the scrimmage, and yes, it was only a scrimmage, but to say that Huntingdon is all those touchdowns better is just an ignorant statement made by a disgruntled fan/player because they lost to Trinity.

Also, trinity was missing their starting RB/S, and FB/K/LB.

Well from what I saw, the only player on the field that switched with a 2nd teamer was the QB. 2nd, TCA scored 4 offensive touchdowns without turning the ball over on the drive, Huntingdon scored one like that. Saying Huntingdon is 4 TD's better is a ridiculous statement, and you have no evidence to support that statement. I believe that if a team wins a scrimmage like that, theres no way the team on the losing end is 4 tds better, or better at all, than the winning team.

Saying that Huntingdon is 3-4 TD's better than Trinity is down right outrageous. TCA won the scrimmage, turnovers and just offensive scoring. They did handle TCA's defense, but TCA DID force a turnover on every drive except for one. I believe that if anything TCA is a TD or 2 better. Just my honest opinion...
