  1. I believe that BGA will take this one. 21-17. Close game. It will all depend on who's offense steps up. I believe that both of their defenses will be ready.
  2. Alcoa is good, but MUS is the best team in the state. MUS is 17 in the nation and Alcoa is 77. Alcoa is obviously a very very good team, considering they are a top 100 team in the nation, but I wish they had a chance to challenge MUS or even Ensworth(64 in nation) this year. No one can really say that either team is the best in the state until they play each other, but on paper MUS is the best. So I say that the best TEAMS in the state are MUS, Ensworth, and Alcoa. This wont change until the DII state championship game. Ensworth vs MUS, unless an upset in the playoffs occurs.
  3. So your saying that Orleans is all ensworth has? If I'm not mistaken Tollison(QB) had more passing yards against Oakland than Orleans had running yards. Pretty rare. But to be fair Oakland's D-line is veryy good. They also have Cooper(TE) who has already verbally committed to clemson. I think that Ensworth will go to the air more often than most people will expect. That is if they even need to. Im not saying that MBA will lose, but i think that they will have a lot of trouble with Bowers' offense. How about the defense for both sides?
  4. Predictions? MBA barely beat Maplewood in the 4th quarter tonight. Ensworth had a big win over Oakland last week.
  5. Pretty good predictions, I think state will be fun to watch all around.
  6. Well i do know that the first legs were Garrett Carmichael vs. Ford Bell. Garrett out sprinted Ford the final 100 and they went about 1:56 and 1:57. 2nd legs were good but the BHS guy caught the EHS guy and they handed off side by side. about 2:01(ehs) and 2:00(bhs). Then the third legs were close till the last 150, BHS took EHS and got about a 3 second lead. 2:04(ehs) 2:01(BHS) EHS last leg slowly closed the gap but couldnt beat him completely. 1:59(EHS) (2:02) BHS had a very stong team as did EHS. It was evident that BHS was going to win after the 3rd leg. BTW these times are very unofficial! They are just rough estimates from a stop watch.
  7. Yup this is true and it happened last wednesday and Brentwood pulled out a close victory. They both ran 8:00 and some change. They are both under 8:00 by the end of the season... Also to get into the emerging elite section at Nike Outdoor Nationals you have to run under 8:00 with some exceptions. It'll be interesting to see if they can get there.
