  1. I didn't say LA won or lost anything just due to injuries. Injuries played a part, youth played a part, and yes even some bad coaching moves played a part. But if you want to compare apples to apples, who did SC lose from the 6-5 2013 team they couldn't replace compared to LA 11-2 losing McCoin Qb/db, Linder OL/DL, Linder rb/db, Hayes rb/db, Reagan OL/LB, Hollars wr/db. LA came into 2013 losing 5 all- districts players from 2012 team, every defensive back, and every running back with experince. And Smith Co even added a all district player in Milan. Bottom line is Smith Co coach staff is not close to Lamb and Flatt coaching wise. Quals is just average I can admit that. LA does a way better job at the peewee level and jr high level than most of 8aa recently, thus 2 of the last 3 district crowns. I could bye the "injury" excuse for a year, but a two year run of 9-13....shouldn't be exceptable for a school with as much football history as Smith Co. I know it and you know it.

The election spin is still in your head. With one simple question you went all the way down to PEEWEE football at Livingston. Get a life - who the heck wants to hear all this crap you spout that don't amount to a hill of beans. Just answer the question without trying to impress posters with your 'superior' knowledge about Upper Cumbeerland Football and don't know crap about the Upper Cumberland. Where did you play high school football? you say you played at MTSU, were you a walk-on? who was head coach? who were some of your teammates? You must not work, you are on here all hours trying to again show your 'superior' knowledge about an area you are not from. If you did graduate from MTSU, how in the world did you pass English 101 and 102?  Answer if you want to and don't answer if you don't want to. Do you even know the difference in the UCC and the CVC?

  2. Not hashing out anything, Antwit brought all this on with snide remarks about other programs when his hometown program aint got room to talk. The facts are, YI had 6 wins and was in the playoffs. UH had 7 wins and in second round of the playoffs. Its not how you start the season, its how you finish. Not a fan of the SC coach. Nothing personel but his team flat out quit. SC in the past could have played its Jr high team and have beat that Cannon Co team. 8aa was as weak as its ever been in 2014, SC won 3 games. That speaks volumes. Time to get some reality in Carthage and makes some changes. One transfer won't fix the bigger problem. It didn't when the qb came over from Brentwood. It didn't when Milan arrived. And probably won't effect much next year. Stupidity is doing the same thing over the same way and expecting diffrent results.

Well, SC fans realize that we were not a good team - how many times do I have to say that? There were reasons that SC coaches could not control. They played the deck that was dealt them. No other team in the region started 5 freshmen the last of the season. Four started the 9th game. The team was decimated with injuries and other problems beyond control. Don't know what you are talking about when you say this team "flat out Quit", that is the sign of STUPIDITY making a statement like that. You have no idea of what you speak . How many games did Livingston win a couple years ago when they had so many hurt? There was another team that had quiet a few players hurt and had a poor year, neither team decimated as bad as SC, I don't remember you dicing the program like you have SC. Don't you dare say you haven't diced SC - calling them quitters!!!!!! Now my final comment on this:WE BEAT BOTH THE TEAMS YOU ARE COMPARING US WITH THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Have a good Thanksgiving

Oh yes, Maynord was the coach when the QB from Brentwood came here, not that it makes any difference to us but it apparently does to you.

  3. What does that say for the U? Looks like 2 of those 3 lost to SC? You have no idea what you are talking about...as usual. Time to move on to schedules.

The transfer SC got will really help next year. He will help very much on both sides. UC man, if a freshman wasn't injured, there would have been 5 freshmen starting the last game for SC. QB next year will be much improved, a soph., with much talent, both throwing and running the ball. SC has the top three fullbacks back which looks as if there could be some pretty good guards playing next near, top tthree tailbacks back, looks like some more receivers available and returns all of the sec. along with all the LB's returning. Plus the transfer will start somewhere.  SC was not a good team this year, but good enough to beat two of the teams you mentioned in your post(s). Speaking of how SC finished the year, I think even Postie would understand our situation as mentioned above. No sense in hashing out last year as we were 66% against your teams and will be MUCH improved next year especially with the transfer. Everyone have a good and safe Thanksgiving.

  4. Funny OldKitty, I'll match football wits with him or anybody else any day. You don't know anything about me, so making those types of statements is pretty funny, boy!!!!

You and Posty are going to get along like a dog and a cat. The war is brewing at this point and time. If you don't believe me, just ask Postie. Seems like we have two exact personalties in the same room.

  5. Im looking forward to the move down next season. We have an execellent team returning next year. What does Jcounty, Aquatown, Cascade, and Eagleville have coming back next year? I probably missed someone else to.

Lordy, Lordy, the cow has jumped over the moon, it's raining cats and dogs, pigs are flying and any other cliche' that can be used, Postie has left us. You folks are in for a real supprise. Don't say we didn't warn you. Yes, Westie will have a good team next year, not as good as this year, but will be very competitive.

  6. By the way, I'd never want to see a kid get hurt playing football or any other sport. I do like to agitate on occasion.

We all know that Postie. We all stir the fire a lot but it is all in fun. If someone got on CoachT and read some of out posts, they would think we are bitter enemies, not the case.  Westie will be tough next year and will make some waves, but next year you won't hear us saying that, LOL. Too many teams Westie played this year had high compliments about your team - had to be a good team. We will be improved next year, IF the injury bug stays away. Our last game, if a frosh. had not been injured, we would have had five freshmen starting. With the hand we were dealt, I guess we should be happy with what we did. Are you flipping houses? I f so, I have several friends doing that and making some very good money. Hope your son goes on and fulfills his dreams. See you next year.

  7. Out of jail.........but evidently rehab or community service wasn't a condition of his release. :roflol:

Since he is now a felon, how often does he have to report to his probation officer? Can't go hunting anymore on Stinking Creek, can't be in possession of a gun, lost his democratic voting rights, a gov't worker so he is obligated to the govt., How many times have you seen someones mouth overload his ***? Hang in there Postie, we, Smith County, will stand up for you and help you make it thru your hard times!! By the way, Westie did do a good job this year. Glad your son made it thru the year without reinjuring his knee. I know you are proud of him.

  8. I'm not to bright, but you say you want CPA to win, Antwan basically says Westy won't win......exactly SIR how does that make him an idiot??

I'm inclined to agree with WiseManGiles.

What's all this crap about calling someone an "Idiot"? Postie is in Jail and he is a 4'11" Idiot!! Now there. If you don't like it, go tell Mama.

  9. Whinemoreland...... :roflol:

You've stooped to a new level of whining. We've come  expect the whining about the refs, the coaches, the opposing coaches, the schedule, other teams schedule, the refs, the rich, the poor, the injuries and ......the refs.   Now, whining about a band.

And who is "we"?  You, homie, and steamroller?  I'm not to sure a 5'2" mailman strikes much fear in anyone. What do you do??  Say "I'm with the government, you have to stop"?  Or "I won't deliver you sales fliers or publishes clearinghouse this week"?

All you posters from CPA get ready for a week of stupidity from Postie. This is his daily postings. Just don't pay any attention to him. He is 5'2" tall and has Short Man Syndrone. Just ignore stupidity.

  10. Are y'all preparing for next years matchup with Cannon co yet Antwan?

I would say that we had better be. If King, a freshman, had been able to play Friday night, we would have had five (5) freshmen starting. Took it on the chin this year, should be much improved next year. We lost two tackles and a freshman to be will more than likely to start and another frosh to be tackle will push for starting time. Lost the QB but will have a soph. that will be a threat both to throw AND run the ball. Very tough and fast and good football sense. He started this year on defense the last two games. All the rest of backfield returns. So, don't know many small schools that could have won many games with the injuries we had. As I said, got whipped this year, but Postie, what would Westie have done with five freshmen starting and the whole backfield, but QB,were frosh.and jr's? Not complaining about this year, I couldn't expect to do much better with the hand we were dealt. See you guys next year and good luck to Westmorland to win as many as you can. You're playing your best ball at this time. You and Steam keep the fire hot. Good luck!!

  11. Gville has been very inconsistent. We have some fine ballplayers, but it just hasn't come together this year.

    Maybe it will this game.

I really don't expect a big crowd from Gville. The fan base is loyal and rowdy when they're good. When they're not, the apathy is embarrassing.

I expect to be there Friday, and I'm looking forward to it.

Good luck big boy. Hope the Tigers get the W.

  12. You say scrambling for his life. I say won't stand in the pocket. I'm not arguing. Just saying one group isn't responsible for anything.

Both of you are correct - Play called could be a drop back or sprint out - line blocks according to the play called - one missed block on drop back causes QB to scramble to miss tackler and many times that will run him into where the line is blocking defender. Let me make this clear, and I think all will agree, our QB is doing an exellent job. Takes a lick and keeps on ticking. Lot of respect for this young man.

  13. For the record, Westmoreland begged SC to play us and they refused. We might try to get y'all to play us the next couple of years but then again I doubt the crowd from SC would fill the White House Heritage Park bench they have on the visitors side due to the way the owls are stinking it up this year. We want good teams with fan bases that don't down there players and coaches on our schedule.

Total LIE - Westie dropped SC.

  14. My 9 year old told me SCs paper cup team stinks as bad as the SCHS team. He also recommended Pickett co for future scheduling in a season opener when that group gets in high school.

Sounds like President Jimmy Carter in his presidential debate saying" Amy, his 9 year old daughter, and I was discussing Nuclear Physics fusion yesterday .............". Jimmy lost the re-election and that statement was used against him and still is today. Kidding aside, Westie seems to be on a roll. Must have a pretty good team. Good luck.

  15. Are you scared? SC d aint bad at all. If the o can put something together..look out.. Halloween night..could be spooky for the kitties..owls just might fly over in the calm of the darkness and claw the kitties eyeballs, and playoff hopes, right out. MUAHAHAHAHA

Losing Rutherford at LB qas HUGE. When he went out the d dropped a ton. Won't play Friday night  - gonna' hurt us as though we havent had any injuries this year.
