I highly doubt they would've been able to tie the game down 2 TD's with one timeout left with 3 minutes left in the game if Giles would've ran the ball and played it safe. SH was defending the run very well. apparently thats what they had set out to do. i like what oc did. if SH was in out situation wouldnt they have done the same thing. its the offenses job to score and thats what they did.SCORE. SH showed in the 1st half that they could score in a jam when they did it with seconds left on the clock.

i agree with likearock. spring hill was very capable tieing the game with 3 minutes left. so tring to score and put the nail in the coffin is fine with me. besides, its the offense's job is to score not to give up and let the other team run over them. what likearock means is that in that situation most coachs would try to score, not fold like a piece of paper

i believe GC can win by 3 TD's but i think it will be closer to 1 or 2. spring hill's offense is very good so i dont think it will be a big blow out

spring hill is very good this year. they remind me of oc's first year. they are playing with that type of confidence. giles (though playing a very weak passing team in l-burg) defended the pass well except for one play. GC was almost able to score at will. they did have turnovers but they cna be easily corrected.the defense did very well. they played the whole game with intensity and effort. with the offense playing well and the defense coming together GC should win. Now even Byrd can be a weapon with a 38 yard field goal against cookville. spring hill is much improved but i dont think they will beat GC.

giles is 4a now but still facing a 6a team. i thought they did well but nowhere near what they are capable of. the offense didnt show up at all. they didnt score in the first half except for a couple of field goals by byrd. honestly the offense still didnt play well in the second half.the defense is unpredictable. sometimes they show up and sometimes they dont. OC will have them in shape and ready to play next week.

giles county is a very talented team. but they are very young and undersized. they played cpa at belmont and lost by around 10-15 points. cpa didnt look very impressive. the score is missleading. they could prbly beat most of their opponents but they cannot match-up with higher level teams.....yet. untill they "recruit" a couple ppl that is

they definitely need to work on the defensive backs. as a whole they are very undersized. they're quick but they are very small. look for boykins, dienye,cobb, morris, josh smith, abernathy, and many others to show up this season. this class of seniors is one of the best(possibly the best) in giles history as a whole. look for great things out of them

well there are only two starters leaving but the bobcats also lost kyle motts and demayo birdsong who played a good amount of time on the d-line and did have large impacts on the games.
