I would think that you will make the trip to LaVergne to watch your old team play. Well the score was 0-0 at half but Beech ended up winning 3-0. LaVergne played well, the look good but for this game experience from Beech won it. Good luck to both team the remaining of the season.

Here is the actual ruling on weight certification:

1. In order to enter the regional wrestling tournament a participant must certify prior to Jan.

15 in the weight class or a weight class below the one in which he enters the tournament.

After certification, a wrestler may not weigh in more than one weight class above the

weight of certification without recertifying at the higher weight.

2. Certification must take place at scratch weight without any additional pounds as a result

of consecutive days of competition.

3. Certification may be done in any meet or invitational tournament in which the wrestler’s

team is participating and must be filed with the state office.

4. A wrestler must weigh-in in at least one-half of his dates during the season at the weight

class or weight classes below the one at which he will enter the regional tournament.

So a wrestler only needs to weigh in for 1/2 of his matches at that weight class. He could actually wrestle 145 all season long and then enter the regional tournament at 140. If he weighed in at 140 1/2 of the season.

His record speaks for itself in Tullahoma, I personally compare it to one of the top 5 teams in the state of TN. I wish someone keeps track of Chadwick's accomplishments. Keep up the great work!

ok everyone it is time for me to talk since everyone is wanting to know what's up. If you guys read the article in the Memphis paper you should know that it was all trash. The heading was saying that I quit the team but in the middle of the article it was saying that I declined to comment. How does one journalist turned my life up-side down I don't know but think about this;

Why would I quit on the greatest bunch of guys that took me to the state?

Why would I turn my back on a program that is getting better and better?

Since everyone here wants to know the truth here it is, I was and still am mad at TSSAA for assigning poor officials to a quarter-final game. The officials had no control of the game at NO TIME. The middle official did not at any time warn any of the players from both teams for agressive play or anything to that extend. Any bump was an automatic yellow so in the second half when the game was tied at 2 a piece and the teams started to get tired any hard foul was awarded with a yellow (second) red. These guys worked hard all year long to get there and some kid (center official) took all their hard work and flashed it down the towlet.

Here is an example of how poor he was;

He gave our foward a second yellow for a unsporting contact. At that time the foward who is a captain asked why did he give him the card, the official then proceeded to give him a straight RED, he said he now changed his mind and that he is giving him a straight red and we can not sub anymore. I have been reffing for 12 years and that is NOT in the rule books anywhere, even the Farragut coach who was watching the game was puzzled by the decision.

Anyway if you want to know anything at all ask and I will tell, don't start rumors that do not apply to what realy happen.

The Siegel coach will be Coach Martin the current soccer coach from Oakland. That is not a rumor is a fact.

We have rescheduled the games for Tuesday night at 6pm and 8pm at Smyrna once again. We are hoping that the weather be get better so we can get the games in finaly but I am not holding my breath for that....

The games will start at 2:00, 4:00, 6:00 and 8:00.

Semifinals are on Monday at 6:00 and 8:00 and the final game is at 7:00 Wend.

No, there is no forfeit for that match. The official's assignor is responsible to make sure there are officials for the game but things happen.You can not penalize the kids for a missunderstanding of the adults.

Does anyone know if the game tonight Franklin Co. vs Tullahoma is still on? What are you predictions on them?

My personal opinion is that Oakland will win this game, I have seen them play but I have not watch Lebanon play but I think Oakland has a good team with a lot of talent, they are a little young but they are getting better every game they play. I would say 3-1 Oakland.
