Both teams fought hard the whole game. The good news is that neither team has reached their full potential. Yes the fielding and pitching was excellent, but it also needs a lot of fine tuning. As for hitting, there were some good and some bad. Caleb Barnett (ccs) hit a solo homerun, and Josh Paul added a good line drive base hit in extra innings, and others had good hits as well. I'm really excited about this season because both teams played well and atleast for CCS, we have a long ways to go before we hit our peek. Good luck to boyd and hopefully we'll see ya'll again.

I was just wondering why Soddy cancelled the scrimmage against CCS on tuesday?

I also think that CCS should be higher than 8...but then again, it's just a poll, so it really doesn't matter. Polls are interesting and all but I think that we shouldn't pay them any attention and just get out and play some ball!

Congrats to Chattanooga Christian on another district championship. CCS and Lookout Valley fought hard the whole game but CCS pulled it out with a 53-50 win. Good luck to both teams in Regions.

Deserved, they had a good year and won a tight game for the championship...if you can do that, it's deserved.

Trell, I know this is a soccer board and WAY off of the subject, but you go to USJ, what's ya'lls baseball team look like this year? (I'm askin you cause if I ask on the baseball board I will get all kinds of junk about it) Do you think that they can or will repeat?

Sorry dude, Ridgeway will not repeat again this year and they will not dominate in AAA. Of course they will be about avarage but I really don't expect to see them in a state final every year. I doubt that they will be dominating most teams. True, 2 years ago CCS had an awesome team, and since then we have only lost, what? about 5 players, 4 starters? Is that right JumpAround? But what does that matter? CCS is still about as good as we were then, we just lost 2 fowards and 2 midfields. There is alot of talent coming back. But Ridgeway is not an awesome unstoppable team that you think they are.

Trell, I played both Ridgeway and CA 2 years ago and we dominated them both (CCS 6 CA 1; CCS 5 Ridgeway 0) If CCS had been playing their kind of soccer last year, they would gotten past Sweetwater, Columbia Academy and again Ridgeway in the finals. I give them both credit for making it to the finals and into an overtime game, but I don't believe that they are the 2 best teams in the state for A/AA. I excpect this year to see CCS and somebody other than Ridgeway.

Why is Goforth giving up soccer to play baseball this year? What position does he play in baseball?

Farragut, they have been really strong the last few years and I expect them to return again to the spring fling.
