1. I would like to say "way to go" to the Lawrence County Lady Cats. I am very proud of your accomplishments and the way you represented LCHS. Congrats to all of the players and coaching staff. I know you worked hard. Good luck to each of the seniors and I look forward to watching the Lady Cats play next year.

  2. QUOTE(luckynumber3 @ Apr 28 2007 - 10:09 PM) 826447699Does anyone know how 8AAA finished in the record?

When will play in game be and who will play?

When does district play start and who will play

    who to start with?

Coffee is first with a 10-2 record, Lawrence Co/Tullahoma/Columbia Central tied for second. District play starts Wed. with Franklin Co playing either Shelbyville or Lincoln Co. The district meeting is monday April 30 and all games and times will be determined then.

  3. QUOTE(cascade11 @ Apr 3 2007 - 10:14 AM) 826428859Wow, who did the pitching for Forrest? Is Lawrence County that good of a hitting team, or was the Forrest defense off yesterday? I can't remember the last time Forrest gave up that many runs.

Stinnett pitched for Forrest. I remember 8 hits for LC.

  4. Correct, 5 Freshman travel ball players. 2 pitchers, 1st baseman, catcher, and center fielder. They can play just about any spot on the field. Should be able to help right away and build toward the future.

Who are the freshmen? It is always a good feeling to have some freshmen to help fill needed positions.

  5. Lawrence Co has several players to watch. Seniors Ashley Jaco and Ashley Farr, shortstop and third, both had good offensive years last year and will bring defense along with power at the plate. Jaco led the team last year in home runs.

  6. ERA, Who is the young pitcher(Amy) for Columbia you mentioned? Did she play middle school ball? Columbia has many talented players who are eighth graders or freshmen who will see playing time early in their High School careers. As for the rankings for 8AAA, the top two will be CC and Shelbyville but I can't as easily rank the rest of the squads. Each has talent but will have to step up to the level this district requires to take a district championship.
