I agree with Fairview winning this game. But I dont agree with the whole "easily handled" Hickman Co. thing. I think Fairview had to earn everything they got. Hickman got thier running game going fairly well.
Both teams had a great showing. One thing that I was glad to see that we (Hickman Co.) were able to move the ball against as tough a defense as fairview. Offense is the part of the game that we have worked the hardest and longest on during the preseason. Turnovers killed us. Espacially the one in the final quarter on fairviews 10 yard line. Well, good luck to both teams in theier seasons.
Yes they will. We scrimmaged them at Camp Nakome (Hickman Co.) and they have a very tough team. Thier QB is one heck of an athlete. They have a solid recieving core that can make the tough catches that count in the game. I expect them to travel deep into the playoffs.
We dont have alot of depth in the secondary and we needed to get the younger players some experience in a game-like situation so we could have someone that could get the job done if a starter went down. But it is over now, doesnt matter anymore. Good job both teams.
I just heard it from a another player on my team... that is why i asked for someone to clear it up for me... I didnt know whether to believe it or not. Thanks StanTrot
I heard that he got into some trouble at school and he wasnt going to be able to play this fall. I was wondering if someone could tell me whether or not this is true.
I used to live in Texas.. and I will tell that they produce amazing athletes year in and year out.... I would say that Texas is the best producer or football players with Florida right behind it...
Well... Brentwood was the 5A state champs..... Franklin lost to Brentwood in the 3rd round of the playoffs...... Fairview would have a tough time with those two teams... I think they could play with Centennial and Ravenwood easily..... but as far as a 2A team scheduling a bunch of 5A teams.. and 5A teams with a winning record...
Fairview does have a few tough games this year.... but they could beef up thier schedule alittle bit to get ready for the playoffs
