i got to mba, and play in baseball, basketball, and fooseball, and bga is a very good opponent in all 3 sports. they come to play everynight, and have beaten us in baseball every year i've been there besides last year. But in defense of my basketball team...you only beat us by 8 in basketball last year. Even last year, although we won by 36 or 38, i never really felt comfortable..they have a very dangerous team. i agree with all your comments. although if you remember, it wasn't that we were out of position to make the big defensive tackle or play, it's just that we didn't wrap up and bring them down. This week on the defensive side, the focus was mainly on just form tackling, and makin the play. Our coaches are good enough that they'll get us in position to make the play, we just gotta make it happen. We made numerous mistakes on offense as well, but i think we worked relaly hard this week and should look very good...don't worry we're not overlooking anyone after the season we had last year, coach has us ready.

The mustangs will have a pretty good team this year. They gave MBA a good run for their money in a scrimmage earlier this year. Granted, it was easily the worste performance of our preseason, but they still looked like a very talented all-around team, with their only weakness coming in a small secondary. The qb, stinson, looked pretty good, and they had some big backs.

how could you have goodpasture and riverdale infront of mba, when mba dominated both teams earlier this year in scrimmages. [Edited by ScottyP24 on 8-25-02 8:56P]

i'd just like to say that DB was definitely the most classy, and desciplined opponent i've played against in any sport, and all my teamates that i have talked to totally agree. The fans, players, etc. made the game that much more enjoyable. Good luck to DB this year, we'll enjoy watching you win state this year.

football doesn't get much better than that, as a player or fan. best of luck to DB this year, you were a very classy opponent...and i hope all DB fans and players saw the science hill team on the MBA side chearin for us during overtime, that'll add some fuel to the rivalry. both teams left everything on the field. great game, and good luck DB.

i haven't heard that he's a good pitcher...do you really know anything about richard babill?

we will have a very good pitching staff next year, but i'm not sure how much that is goin to help us, we need help with the sticks...the junior at mccallie is one of the best i've seen in high school other than mullins.

HOW CAN BA AND BRENTWOOD BE RIVALS IF BRENTWOOD HAS NEVER BEATEN BA AND WILL ONLY PLAY BA ONCE IN EVERY 5 OR 6 YEARS, JUST WHEN THEY THINK THAT THEY HAVE BECOME GOOD?? for that matter how can ba be mba's rival babill when ba hasn't scored against mba in the regular season the last three years...yes one touchdown in the clinic bowl in 2000, but no points in regular season
