To the person who accused me of copying from another thread: Yes, it does look awful familiar to a post on another thread. Because when I posted it on the other thread, and then saw a similar discussion going here, I posted it again. Check the name on the post before you comment next time.

The REFS are basically the Milli-Vanilli of student cheering sections. The McCallie S.P.I.R.I.T.U.A.L.S. have been doing what they do since the 1960's, and to be blunt, nobody does it better. At least the REFS counterparts at Baylor admit the debt they owe to Chattanooga's original School Spirit organization- the McCallie S.P.I.R.I.T.U.A.L.S.

Financial Aid is not the same thing (as recruiting). Any financial aid given to a student is decided not by the school, but by an independent, nation- wide organization that looks at a students financial situation and then decided how much financial aid they should receive. The school is not involved in the decision. Although many private schools give scholarships, students receiving a full scholarship cannot play varsity sports.

If McCallie plays the way they have been playing in past weeks, 2-0 McCallie.

I think Catholic would have a better shot against Baylor. While McCallie lost to Catholic earlier in the season, they have improved a great deal since then. But this is a mute point, because McCallie is going to beat Baylor on Friday anyway.

TO UNCFAN- Regarding the Dalton game- I think that was a case of one team overwhelming another. You can't him for letting in goals against a team that was clearly better than McCallie. His defense was unable to provide decent protection, and his offense was unable to put any pressure on Dalton. He was fighting the very good Dalton offense completely on his own, and that being the case, I think three goals is rather decent.

In DII East, the best keeper would have to be Trey Meyer.

He is right though, Bearden did decline an offer from McCallie to play them this year.
