He moved to Lebanon and played baseball. That's all I know. Are there more than one high school in Lebanon?

I was told by one of his former teammates that he graduated in 2002. He could possible be a 2003 graduate, but slight chance. Someone mentioned David Lipscomb, but I did not find him on the roster.

I heard that Meadows was considering changing the offense to a Wing-T in order to facet the expectations of New Jersey transfer Clay Farrar. Will Farrar's eligibility render despite being an All-State QB this season in New Jersey. I think if someone moves from out of state, they should have to sit out a year just like everyone else. Just because New Jersey rules state that a player can take a medical/or transient absence, they shouldn't change the rule in Tennessee. Meadows knew that he was getting Farrar. He knew that he was coming in after the fall semester and Christmas break.

I heard the Furman deal almost two years ago and it recently arose again in an upper East Tennessee newspaper. Quarles is a young coach. I heard that they (Furman) want him as their offensive coordinator. If Randy Sanders leaves the University of Tennessee, who will take his place? Sanders played at Morristown East. I guess Fulmer would promote within as he did with Sanders when Cutcliffe left.

Morristown West loses three stud defensive players. Defense will still be strong. Offensively, they lose QB, WR's, and strong running backs. You're looking at a 9-3 squad. With Coach Woods there, though, it could be another banner year.

Why in the world did Jefferson County pass on this guy over three-years ago to be their head coach? Also, if he leaves for Furman, will the Randy Sanders to Maryville rumor become true? Also, if Carl Stewart continues to change his mind about his commitment to Auburn, will he attend Carson-Newman or Middle Tennessee State University? Also, is Carl Stewart kin to James 'Littleman' Stewart? Also, I noticed the attendance was down for the Tennessee State Championship Game. Was it because the roads leading to interstate 40W Lebanon exit were closed due to heavy construction towards safety patrol lights? This may have slowed plenty of Tennessee high school footbell fans down from getting into the contests. Thanks.

My papaw Farrar once told me that Maryville would go to the state three times in a row. My papaw also told me the Atlanta Braves would once again be winners. My papaw also told me that Rutlede would get a Wal-Mart. Well, two-out-of-three ain't bad.

Morristown West 31, Maryville 24. All-state linebacker Emmanuel Fredericks didn't even play against Maryville the first time around. Maryville's ability to catch lucky hail mary's will cease. Morristown West's ground game is unstoppable. Dirty Davis, Charles Rucker, and Walter Coffey. Remember those names. Maryville is just a small step to the state championship for West. Maryville is a strong team, but they are not the best team in East Tennessee. Just ask Greeneville who is.
