we love being the underdog as it provides a ton of motivation. Nobody believes in us but ourselves. We are focused and are taking it one game at a time. Maplewood is a big, fast and physical team that will be a handful. Yes we remember what happened 2 years ago and it is still fresh on our minds.

the bottom line is the toughest region will end up being the team who wins it all! That is my opinion. Henry has always been a tough opponent for us. I am just sticking up for our boys is all!

Prophet i am a coach here at Kenwood. Yes i did communicate with you, especially 2 years ago when you all said that it would be a blow out by half and we beat you all in OT. Last year you all won 17-7 here. So i do take offense when you call our team not good or talk about our defense. I did not know if we were good on defense until we held the 2 teams ahead of us in check and to 3 points each. So i do have a great deal of knowledge about Kenwood and have since this school opened. Coach Mac as to fast cat...I will be under the scoreboard today at 300, come on down and speak to me.

defense gave up 7 to beech and 3 each to mt juliet and clarksville. 9 points in chs game came from the offense PROPHET. that is a little over 4 a game

Kenwoods D gives up less than that a game. As a team 55 all year, as a defense just 33 total

just another thing for whomever plays them to have to defend against!

kenwood held mt juliet to 3 points and WELL below their avg yards and held clarksville to 90 yards of total offense and 3 points. I would say that our defense is not bad at all. Our offense is not bad either. One or 2 plays in both of their games and they would be undefeated. But they did not so we have 2 losses. Kenwood never overlooks any opponent. All we are thinking about this week is Rossview. So prophet your reasoning is not a sound one as you have not watched the games

golfen, officials for all TSSAA playoff games are determined by the TSSAA. In the playoffs you will never have your association call your games. These refs will come from another part of the state. The TSSAA tries to get the best for the post season. For all those that are complaining about officials, we just have to deal with it. Holding goes on every play, you just have to overcome these obstacles. I am one who is hard on them, but they do not have dvd/video eyesight, and i understand this now. I do not always agree on their decisions, but you have to live with good or bad. It has been a great year the region 6, so lets keep it that way and step up to the challenge in the playoffs.

ok, i agree with that! how do things look this week for you all? CHS is a good team with a good offense and a tremendous defense. We have to continue to do the little things week in and week out. We work on them every day!

It was a FLAT OUT WAR between these two teams. Kenwood just happened to come up on the short end of the stick. It was not a sloppy game with turnovers. Kenwood had 2 with one of them at the end of the game and Mt Juliet had 1. A great defensive effort on both sides of the ball. My hats off to Mt Juliet. They are well coached, disciplined, fast and physical. Coach Perry and his coaches have really turned the program around over there. Congrats to you Coach Perry. We fought hard and for 48 min but just could not get it across the goal line. Coach Mac

Golfen I have never laid smack on the Cats. Some of my friends were coaches over there and some still are. If you read back all i said was a bogus holding call. We will meet and shake hands or whatever. So with that being said, you can talk to coach Busbee or coach cooper who is no longer coaching and they will inform you how passionate i am about my knights, but more in general, about football. It is true that Mt Juliet is a great football team who is well disciplined, well coached, fast, and very physical. Golfen, you can forget about trying to hype up the other team... Coach Perry and his coaches will have them that way for sure. As for the Knights, they will be hyped up as well. Quit trying to get to bait people into a ###### contest. Let this game play out the way it will be played out. I anticipate this being a war for 48 minutes and very physical. Good Luck to both teams and keep everyone safe from injury.
