  1. For once i completely agree with Gomab, Brent McPherson is the most underrated player in Nashville, but thats what comes with playing for the Mustangs. No press, no fame, just #1 in the district about every year. Has Daniel gotten stronger and more aggressive? I want to say he is overrated but he very well could have done all Gomab has said he did over the spring and summer. Marshall Bryan will be a player to watch for from Hillsboro High School. He can shoot just as well as brent and I would know because i've grown up with the both of them.

  2. I agree w/ Cobrafan, Leroy can straight bust it from 3 and he got them hops too. I dont know if Hendersonville can be considered Metro but Andy Wicke just might be one the best shooters in the mid-state. I cant believe nobody's mentioned Walker Cambell either. But as far as pure strokes go, I think my boy Brent McPherson for the Lipscomb Mustangs has the best period.

  3. I dont see Lipscomb, Hume-Fogg or Portland losing in the first round and I doubt York can play with any of these teams. My prediction is Lipscomb-Hume Fogg final but who knows. I wonder if 7-aa can handle the pressure, height, and athletes from 8-AA, but they can stroke the triple from what i hear.

  4. All three of these guys are great players. Ferguson is next to unstoppable in the post and has a great one dribble pull-up J on the perimeter(he also can knock down the trailer "3" from the top). Stephen has a great post game but is more suited for the perimeter. Can bust from three or take it to the @@@@ and has great hands and reads defenses and double teams well. Also can pass well out of the post to cutters when the double arrives. Harriford has great quickness and leaping ability. Finishes well, strokes the three, and breaks ankles on the outside. Great court vision and pull-up J. All three guys also have class ( I wish i could say the same about Brewer).

  5. I agree w/ Alex, #30 for Greenbrier is a punk. He tried to injure several of our players at Lipscomb especially #22 and #23. He also talked trash the whole time both times even though his team was gettin beat but thats aight cause he's at home but i wish yall luck next year peace

  6. I have to agree with worthyone. #45 for springfield brought the house down with that tomahawk oop served up by rico collier. Josh conner for lipscomb had 4-5 dunks in the game including dunking on the whole city of springfield on the first play of the game. ray stanton also had a sick two-handed cram.

  8. The only way anyone could include Brewer on their team is if they rated players on potential not skills. Brewer probably has the lowest fg% in the state and has no handles whatsoever, but he is 6'7" and has high potential for college. but for right now he definately not in the top 5 best players in this district, but his teammate Ferguson is #1.

  9. I went to my first NCS game on thursday to see if yall measure up to the smack you talk on these boards, and I want to know how many players you were missing because there's no way Lighthouse should be within single digits of any decent team late in the third quarter. Since it was coming home night did yall decide to give the varsity team the night off? NCSFAN, i hear you're a maryland fan also but you need to join the ymca and slim up. I also thought it was clasless runnin up the score on them. Pushin the ball up and bustin threes with 30 seconds left in the game makes question who's really in control of this team. But yall will get yours sometime when you play a real team, or FRA or Davidson.

  10. You know what PC there is only one way to really finish this stupid debate, a game b/t us and them. On a neutral court with no coaches, minimal fans, and no parents. Just players. Lipscomb vs NCS. Personally i dont think it would be a game at all. NCSFan why dont you and all the ncs players who would be interested call Josh S. or Anthony Hopkins and set up a time for us to settle this for good. This time im serious im sick of you talkin smack and not backin it up. so either call them or quit runnin your mouth.

  11. I think ryan batey and vincent henry each had really bad nights and when your two best guards have bad nights against a high pressure d that doesnt spell well for your team. Lipscomb defend daniels by pressuring goodpastures guards. But i got to goodpasture their props cause even on a bad night, they play very hard and were hustlin even when the game was over (#21 trent craig divin over the mustangs bench head first into the stands to save a ball). Lipscomb plays Hickman Co. on mon. so any info on them would be appreciated.
