  1. For once i completely agree with Gomab, Brent McPherson is the most underrated player in Nashville, but thats what comes with playing for the Mustangs. No press, no fame, just #1 in the district about every year. Has Daniel gotten stronger and more aggressive? I want to say he is overrated but he very well could have done all Gomab has said he did over the spring and summer. Marshall Bryan will be a player to watch for from Hillsboro High School. He can shoot just as well as brent and I would know because i've grown up with the both of them.
  2. I agree w/ Cobrafan, Leroy can straight bust it from 3 and he got them hops too. I dont know if Hendersonville can be considered Metro but Andy Wicke just might be one the best shooters in the mid-state. I cant believe nobody's mentioned Walker Cambell either. But as far as pure strokes go, I think my boy Brent McPherson for the Lipscomb Mustangs has the best period.
  3. Hey Gary why dont you put your game were mouth is and show up on Tuesday @ 3:30 and bring your game, if you have one.
  4. The games were some the best in Nashville. Besides Lipscomb and Hillsboro players, Lipscomb legends Max Bryan and Jerry Meyer came and played too. Next time we are hopin for more people but we dont want to lose any quality so come if you think you can hang w/ the real playas. [Edited by thunder30 on 4-4-03 7:56A]
  5. im not sure. it just depends on the turn out for these first games. Anyone who wants to run some good games needs to show up. [Edited by thunder30 on 4-2-03 5:43P]
  6. Biga, is your name adrien?
  7. I hear someone from Lipscomb dunked all on Corey Brewer's head on Fri? Hey conjbo, GoBama, Khopkins can yall elaborate on this.
  8. I dont see Lipscomb, Hume-Fogg or Portland losing in the first round and I doubt York can play with any of these teams. My prediction is Lipscomb-Hume Fogg final but who knows. I wonder if 7-aa can handle the pressure, height, and athletes from 8-AA, but they can stroke the triple from what i hear. [Edited by thunder30 on 3-3-03 6:48P] [Edited by thunder30 on 3-3-03 7:21P]
  9. All three of these guys are great players. Ferguson is next to unstoppable in the post and has a great one dribble pull-up J on the perimeter(he also can knock down the trailer "3" from the top). Stephen has a great post game but is more suited for the perimeter. Can bust from three or take it to the @@@@ and has great hands and reads defenses and double teams well. Also can pass well out of the post to cutters when the double arrives. Harriford has great quickness and leaping ability. Finishes well, strokes the three, and breaks ankles on the outside. Great court vision and pull-up J. All three guys also have class ( I wish i could say the same about Brewer).
  10. I agree w/ Alex, #30 for Greenbrier is a punk. He tried to injure several of our players at Lipscomb especially #22 and #23. He also talked trash the whole time both times even though his team was gettin beat but thats aight cause he's at home but i wish yall luck next year peace
  11. I would like to know if anyone here can answer Mr. Nasty's challenge (riverdale tried but their stadium's only 2 and a half seasons old...hit me up in two dawg)
  12. Hey coach lonnie who do you think will make it to the regional finals?
  13. I have to agree with worthyone. #45 for springfield brought the house down with that tomahawk oop served up by rico collier. Josh conner for lipscomb had 4-5 dunks in the game including dunking on the whole city of springfield on the first play of the game. ray stanton also had a sick two-handed cram.

  15. The only way anyone could include Brewer on their team is if they rated players on potential not skills. Brewer probably has the lowest fg% in the state and has no handles whatsoever, but he is 6'7" and has high potential for college. but for right now he definately not in the top 5 best players in this district, but his teammate Ferguson is #1.
