  1. If the West winning is a foregone conclusion, why don't we just cancel the games now and give'em the trophy? Get a grip man!!!, Henderson has a good chance to get there, but like anybody else, (including Memphis), they will have to work for it! With all the upsets already, and the ones yet to come... Who Knows!

  3. The Springfield/Lipscomb game is in Springfield isn't it! That's kind of an equalizer with Stephen out! It should be Most interesting! It also kinda depends on what happens tonight in the Springfield/MLK game... at MLK.
  4. Nathan plays for Macon County. He is #22. Montrez plays for Springfield ... Don't remember his number.
  5. OK, lay em out there. Who do you think the top 5 players are?
  6. The biggest problem with the all around player concept is that no one knows the key stats for players this year!!! At least last year, the Tennessean posted points, rebounds, and assists for the top 25 so atleast everyone had a clue. All we have this year is how many points and how many 3s. I talked to the Tennessean and they say they will publish the key stats at the end of the season and before district but, I haven't seen a request for the information from the coaches. If you think it would be good information, send an email Thanks
  7. THE SHOT CLOCK SHOULD BE ESTABLISHED IN HIGH SCHOOL BASKETBALL. HOLDING THE BALL FOR A WHOLE QTR. UNTIL 11 SECS. LEFT IS REDICULOUS AND SHOULD BE FOUGHT WITH THE SHOT CLOCK.
  8. I think Wadale is Super, I also think Brandon Harriford gives him a run for his money. They both are having super seasons. Williams get's the press advantage being AAA but, Games like last night against Lipscomb should help bring Hume Fogg out from under the radar. They did go head to head once this summer at one of the Ballaz showcases. It was a pretty even match! I think both will be candidates for Mr. Basketball in their respective classes. 9. Hume Fogg controlled the game throughout. Harriford had a double-double 16 points/10 rebounds. Renfroe had 16 pts. Robinson had 13 pts. and Ebanks had 7 assists. Portland is a very good team, their starting front line is 6'8", 6'8", and 6'7". Brewer had 16pts, 7 rebs, and 5 blks. Ferguson had 12 pts, 8 rebs, and 3 blks. Portland was held to 8pts in the 2nd period and in the 4th period.
  10. Hey Gomab, why not take a message board survey on candidates for Mr. Basketball in each classification. Instead of everyone bashing peoples picks, let everyone see what comes from the survey. Its also going to help that the Tennessean is going to start publishing top 25 stats on average points scored, rebounds, assists, and I think steals. That should help remove the smoke from people's claims.

  12. Anthony Hopkins - David Lipscomb, I think I spelled it right Brandon Harriford - Hume Fogg Bubba Taylor - Maplewood Andy Wicke - Hendersonville These are some excellent defenders
  13. Does anybody know if the Tennesseean is going to carry the top 25 in each major stat category like they did last year? I mean, Points, rebounds, assists, and steals. Last year they carried them after the new year. Anyone have any feedback or info?
  14. Hume Fogg and Lipscomb do battle tonight. Any predictions??
  15. Hume Fogg and Springfield had a 3 pt shootout this past Friday. Springfield won 80-74. But it wasn't decided until the last 30 seconds. Springfield shot 10-16 3s for a 56% shooting percentage. Hume Fogg shot 8-16 threes for a 50% shooting percentage. The three point leaders in this shootout were: Ray Stanton - Springfield shot 4-6 3s for 23 pts Brandon Harriford - Hume Fogg shot 4-7 3s for 22 pts Alex Renfroe - Hume Fogg shot 3-6 3s for 28 pts With all the 3s, the game was won/lost at the free throw line.
