With no one believing in them but thierselves, Davidson Academy captured the 1-A State Championship, Friday night in Memphis. No one gave DA a chance going into this year to even be in Memphis!! But in extra innings Friday night in the Championship game, senior Cody Willoughby delivered the game winning hit, that brought in Wade Harris from first base. Senior Justin Mundy also had a great tournament delivering game winning hits in earlier rounds! Congradulations to Davidson on this years great season. I, being a student and fan at DA had doubts of the team this year. But this team had extremely high goals that they knew they could reach. The team was very confident all year and even with a shortage of pitching in the late rounds of the state tournament, showed what a great team they are and proved lots of people wrong. Great year Davidson and good luck in the future!

Dillon is a sophomore at davidson academy. He plays right field and has jacked 4 home runs in the past 3 games so far this year he has 7 home runs and by the grace of God himself he'll have at least 20 or so more. If I were a manager in the big leagues i would offer him a spot on my team thats for sure. I mean honestly he's incredible

Davidson Academy has been quiet since 1992 when they were runners up in the state, but you can bet on it that they will be in Memphis this year. DA only lost two seniors one with real importance. They are going to come out stronger than ever. Comming out of the season last year with the most wins in school history they are ready to go over and beyond that accomplishment. Good luck Bears!! It all depends on what team comes to the gym for Davidson. If the team that beat McEwen in Region comes to play then DA should come out with a big upset!

There is no way, ANYBODY has better fans than Davidson Academy, for being a 1-a school. Ask Copper Basin!!
