yeah i think it was player of the week.... he had 42 carries and 354 rushing yards and 4 TDs against harpeth last week... and now has over 1900 yards rushing for the season and leads the state.

The Fairview football team is suppose to be on MNL with Jeff Fisher tonight and it has already started... They are suppose to be honoring Cothran. People should watch...

We have our whole infield returning but not our catcher and all but 1 outfielder. We r very excited about this season already. We really want to play and it could be interesting to see how things play out in our district b/c i think it will be very tough. Last year we started the season 3-0 before going on a 7 games losing streak then finishing the season strong and ended at 14-13. We didnt play like a team last year but we have 5 seniors this year and should play very well. We r ready and our first district game is against Giles at their place..... and it is on our spring break but oh well. hopefully Page and Marshal county will place 4 and 5 in our district....

Fairview wins this game and clinches a spot for the playoffs. The game was really good and was a lot closer than the score considering fairview scored 3 TDs in the final 4 minutes. Cothran had 347 rushing yards on 42 carries and scored 4 TDs... this was a big win for Fairview but harpeth still played a really good game. they r a really good football team.

whoever said Fairview thought we should be #1 in the county??? I know some of them teams are tough. maybe it would be good for us to play teams in 3-a but thats doesnt mean we are not good. AT least we have blown out the 1-a teams and not let them play us close. also we beat a 4-a team earlier in the year. plus we played lewis and loretto very close and almost beat loretto. So we are good but i dont know how we would fair against big teams.

If teams dominate the first half they should pull their starters the second half. If the other team scores a couple they can always bring their starters back in. The past 3 weeks Fairview has been up by alot at the half and have put their B team in early in the 3rd quarter. Even though Aaron Cothran couldve ran for 300 yards in all of them. At the half the past 3 weeks he has had over 150 yards. They could keep him in and get him over 300 but he hasnt played past the 3rd quarter in any of the last 3 games. This is high school football so the spread doesnt count. The Loretto coaches are making a bad decision and if i was a parent i would be mad!!!

well that was my bad. i went back and looked and cothran only had 142 yards against lewis and he had 211 against loretto. so yeah your stats were closer than what i had said originally.

cothran is really good... i keep stats for Fairview so i watch the game and know his yardage... he has like 1300 yards approximately but i could get the exact total later. he also rushed for over 200 yards (211 i think) against lewis county and got like 190 against loretto so he is good. tonight he wouldve had more but they took him out in the late 3 quarter cause we were beating them bad. last week against nashville christian (i know they r not good) but he had 288 in the early third quarter ( with like 10 min left) and didnt play the rest of the game.. a lot of this does have to do with our o-line being so big!!! they r really good!

i feel lewis will win b/c they have a good team... loretto also has a good team but with the loss of #14 it will be hard for them to beat lewis. Fairview will be in 3 b/c they beat richland tonight and i feel they can beat waverly and harpeth if they play their best and the o-line holds up to give aaron lots of yards.

This was a great win for Fairview!!!!!! Aaron Cothran rushed for 201 yards and our defense played good. Fairview could easily win out the rest of their games to finish the season 8-2. and be in 3 in the region.

wait a sec... i never said u didnt try hard or that u stunk. i said i didnt think that the game would be won by you... i meant it would be a team effort for the whole game. i know you have gotten several carries and i think you may have about 35-45 yards... and when you do run it, you run hard, but i dont know about a game winning run... maybe a too far stretched but hey if you got it, i would tip my hat to you for a job well done... and be happy the jackets beat lewis county!!!! i wasnt bashing you, i just dont think you would get the run... hopefully you get a couple.

i agree, whoever this meanjeanII is they need to learn how to spell and talk b/c they stink at it!!! how many times are we going to have to tell you that it's LEWIS CO. maybe you will listen this time. and i wont even go into all the other misspellings you had.... anyways i dont believe for one second that fairview should have to go to their second string... stay with the leading rusher in the midstate and mix in a few passes... and every now and then allow the fullback to get a run!!! it will be the toughest game this year for fairview but if they play as a team and not commit stupid mistakes they will win!!! GO JACKETS!!!!!!!

i am a huge jackets fan and i support them a lot, but for one thing just in case you didnt know, maybe you did it on purpose, but its lewis county... and i believe they will win but it wont be b/c of #48. they will have to run the ball a lot with aaron and dusty will have to throw the ball well. the passing defense also has to be ready and do good... but i bet #48 doesnt get many rushes. it will be aaron and dusty and the recievers. plus they will have to make the extra points!!!!!!! fairview... 28 lewis county... 21
