Franklin's kicker 3 years ago Colby Smith (Now playing for MTSU)has been nominated for the Groza award for the best kicker in NCAA Football. He is the best kicker to come out of this area in some time.

Zander is a very good player. Cal Long found out last nite playing Franklin how tough the upper level teams are. Whoever said some kid from Columbia was the best fullback ever to come out of Middle Tennessee needs to go what Chris Anderson (Brentwood)and Carey Alexander(Franklin) at Belmont. Good to see local boys doing good at the next level. Good luck to Zander ,Cal and all those guys playing in College.

Franklinbeat Brentwood on a hail mary w/7.6 seconds left to go into overtime and won it with a field goal! That was the best game I have seen.

trurebelplaya that is pathetic to judge anything on preseason. Brentwood didnt get on a state championship streak until about the middle of last season. Bring Maryville to middle tn and let them play any of the 5A teams and watch them put all of yall to shame. Yall just get on here and talk a lot of trash you all dont win with any class.

I think that Lincoln County is the best this year they have gotten everybodys respect by beatiing every team. They are not only huge they are quick and fast also. MBA is well coached and really good at winning. Maryville is the cockiest group of kids considering they play noone out east until they get to the championship.

This game will be dominant if Coach Johnson can get his running game going. This all depends on how the rebel line contains the linebacking core and d-line of Brentwood. If they can keep pressure off of solima then Brentwood will not be able to handle the rebel receivers speed. Kellen Moore is a heck of a player but he cant cover all 3 of Franklins big play receiving core. If Franklins defense can stop Brentwood from driving the ball then they cann pull it off. But who knows what Crawford has in store he is an incredible defensive coach and always comes up with ways to win. This one is too close to tell. Franklin could possibly pull it off it if they get it together on defense.

This one is a toss up between Hayes and Van Horne. Van Horne may have him here. I havent heard of anyone else getting 23 tackles in a game like Ian did against Cenennial. We will see how many he gets against those speedy rebels this Friday.

all of the pressure is on Franktowns defense. if they get rolling centennial is in for a long night. this should be a big gut check for the rebel defense. franklin 21, cougars 14!!!!
