  1. In Hoc Signo you are wrong, and people are not underestimating Francis, Francis is not his old self and is wrestling poorly. Will Mix will not be pinned by Max Jarrell. You sir are wrong

Wrestling poorly? He's 30-5 this year. You sir are an ignorant buffoon.

  2. Please remember you are still talking about kids. I know some are near adulthood, but let's not forget they are still kids. Making statements about adults is one thing, but when you make a comment about a kid is WAY OUT OF LINE.

Don't concern yourself too much about his comment. It is typical of Father Ryan and not representative of the wrestling community.

  3. You "mispelt" misspelled.

    Go Irishdad!

    Dear Rloser,

Face to Face is a term used to describe actually speaking to some one face to face instead of by some other means IE radio, phone or computer. It does not mean to look for a squab. Pityful was mispelt on purpose to emphasis the word PITY.

Closing comments, the IRISH wrestlers did not spend much time on their backs. In fact the score does not really refLect the match. If you take away the twelve points that Frank's sons scored it would not have been close. They are both very good young men and wrestlers. One advantage was older brother Patrick in attendance. That had to be a great morale booster. You all must face the fact that my beloved Irish won and still hold a 7-3 advantage in this contest. Try and spin that on all you Irish haters!!!!!!!!

As, I have said in the past it is all practice till state.

GOD BLESS MY BELOVED IRISH CYA IN CLARKSVILLE!!!!!!!!

It is pretty funny that I have to get a phone call about a bunch of kids misbehavin on CoachT. Then I read the post and find out is is the same bunch of childish cowardly adults who seem to run this forum. I find it very sad that after three years all you have to talk about is an alleged mistake on my part. Pityful, just plain pityful. YOU SHOULD BE DISCUSSING THE YOUNG MEN, COACHES AND FAMILIES WHO HAVE SACRIFICED TO WORK HARD AT MAKE IT TO THE END OF THE SEASON.

But this is America where your freedom of speech is protected by our Constitution. Also it is your right to act out in a forum where you hide behind the anonimity of your keyboards typing anything that comes to your challenged little minds. But I find it very interesting that I have never had any of you "posters" make it a face to face. That I would enjoy.

To the Rigger and to all those whose use this forum constructively I wish you alL the best luck at state.

TO MY BELOVED IRISH I WISH YOU THE VERY BEST OF LUCK AS YOU SHOW THE BIG RED EVEN WITHOUT ME AT THE CLOCK YOU WILL CLEAN THERES. GOD BLESS MY BELOVED IRISH...

    He's back!!!

He still wants to fight someone!!

And he still can't spell. Pityful??? clean "theres"????

  5. So..... McCallie is already in the championship final of the State Dual? Hmmmm

Say what you want and rub it in my face if Baylor whoops us worse than yesterday but I feel like next week will be different, and now it counts for the state dual championship.

  6. This is always a great match. Ryan will be ready but MBA should win.... assuming, of course, that IRISHDAD is not running the clock.

The MBA team is very, very experienced. Just look at their performance at the Black Horse and Ryan Inv. Also see the McCallie Inv (only in relation to FRHS). MBA looks very strong to take the region this year. Yet the Irish are loaded with their sophomores and a few upper classman (and a good freshman at 125.) And underclassmen have the quickest learning curve. This means their year of varsity experience has had them learning the tricks of the trade very quickly. Yet I don't think it will be quite enough for the Irish to overcome the MBA dual steamroller. A guess at matchups...

    103 - Francis (MBA) pin Rosa®

112 - Griffith ® decision Sutter (MBA) ® -toss up match

    119 - Simpson (MBA) pin Sloan ®

    125 - Marchetti® decision Bellet(MBA) - beat at Ryan Inv.

130 - Todd (MBA) decision Weakley ® - Beat at Ryan Invit. - toss up match

    135 - Herron(MBA) pin Benito® - beat at Ryan Invit.

140 - McKeithen (MBA) dec Negri ® - toss up match

    145 - Bellet(MBA) pin Miller®

152 - Hall (MBA) major dec Goodrum® - beat at Ryan Invit.

160 - Snyder (MBA) decision Hagerty ® - toss up match

171- Bateman ® major dec. Tate (MBA)

189 - Jacques (MBA) dec Riley ® -toss up match

    215 - Dempsey ® dec Swett (MBA)

    275 - Riley(MBA) dec Garrett® - split matches at Ryan Inv-toss up match

As I have it MBA wins 43-13 (give or take 3 from each). If Ryan were to win at every key match up, maybe things could go their way. I just don't see it happening. It would require a few upsets and some big pins. Regardless, this match involves two great programs from a very heated rivalry. Attendance usually hovers around 2000+. Anyone who was there for the MBA win by 1 point last year(decided in the last match), or any year for that matter, knows the passion that is displayed not only on the mat but in the stands as well. Get out to see this one if you can. It's sure to be a crowd pleaser, with a multitude of good wrestlers in both lineups.

  8. The chair was thrown by Spencer Manley's father with about 30 seconds left in Spencers match. Apparently he was enraged by the McCallie coaches edict that

Manley had to wrestle up to 152.

After the match, Spencer and his father spent some time under the bleachers and I don't think they were happy campers.

  9. Irishdad:

What did you tell Tim Abel?

At least 2 people heard you say "3 seconds".

Why were you the one running the clock given the distinct possibilty that you would be distracted, because of your personal involvement, to the point where you would "forget" to push the buzzer?

Knowing in advance that the crowd would be extremly loud, why wasn't someone

there to tap the ref when time expired?

Your apology is accepted and I hope for the sake of the wrestlers that this kind of thing never happens again.

  10. Please then, explain why Irishdad told the referee that 3 seconds remained on the clock as Hiller reversed Simpson.

Irishdad should be embarrased, not because he was "involved" in the match but because he was not honest.

    Period.

The fact that he was the time keeper is inexcusable.

  11. IrishDad is Mayo's father and guess who was running the clock when Hiller reversed Simpson after time had expired... our good old Irishdad.

And guess what Irishdad told the ref when asked if time had expired, he said "There were 3 seconds on the clock".

Irishdad is a disgrace to his school and to the sport of wrestling.
