it was a hard played game by both teams, Livingston Academy had a few too many mental lapses at the start of the second half though.

ok...so riverdale 1 livingston 2. i'm not making excuses or being biased, anyone who was there could easily see that riverdale was very lucky not to be defeated by livingston academy.

from what i saw riverdale had several good athletes on their team, but they all played as individuals. also livingston academy played a much better game than riverdale. the few shots they did get off lacked either power, placement, or accuracy. they were lucky to get the 2 they did because of the fouls commited just outside the 18. they might be good, but they didn't impress me at all.

we played station camp 1 in the 7 vs. 7 tournament at friendship christian school, and they were definately a good team, but when we shut down two of their key players they broke. but, 7 vs 7 is much different than 11 vs 11. anyway, i believe they do have a possibility to make some noise this year

LA beat Springfield 1-0 in the first round of regionals today. Does anybody know the score of Boyd vs. DCA?

Just wondering how strong Springfield is this year.

First of all, boyd is a very good team who deserves some respect. Although without their keeper they would be 2 maybe 3 places lower in the district standings. While we played them to a 0-0 tie. It doesn't mean the game wasn't very one sided. Boyd was held to less than 5 shots on goal the entire game, (correct me if i'm wrong), while LA had control of the ball most of the game and several very good shots that were nearly goals, not to mention a missed penalty kick. I belive the next time these two teams meet, the outcome will be very different. (in LA's favor for those of you who are a little slow)

who do you think the top teams are going to be in the upcoming season? Do you think anybody is going to be alot better then they were last year?
