  1. agreed, she does not like the publicity or the headlines. she would rather have it be of her team than herself. Plus this is probably her last year of soccer. she would like to play in college but much rather run track. shes just that much better in track than she is in soccer

  2. hmm i dont know where you are getting that but ccs plays "not good teams" because they have to. their district is very weak and they have too. all the teams they play outside of their district are very respectable teams. they beat the state champions and the state runner up in A/AA, and a good nd team, a couple teams that are usually good but are slightly down this year but definitly respectable teams. It should be a very tight match between the two.

  3. heather is not 100% and is playing limited amount of time and is slowly working back up to full strength. She made an immediate contribution coming off of limited time. She scored 2 goals this weekend and another that was taken away on a suspect call. CCS is in a weak district but plays some of the top teams in the state year in and year out. I will admit it is kinda odd that the paper has written about her illness and ive never seen that before but she did win the scrappy moore or whatever it is award as a sophomore. If yo uwanna check their schedual look on soccerinfo.com, but they have played some of the better teams in chattanooga and elsewhere.

  4. CCS just came off wins over DCA and FRA...definitly hard to not put them in the top.

FRA is very talented and is right up there with the best, very tough all the way through their starting line up

DCA started off slow due to injuries and are getting them back now and improving greatly, not to mention they are the defending champions.

  5. I go to ccs and I was at the game and know the players and coaches. I can tell you they were not trying to run the score up on Hixon. Both the starters and the subs were given restictions on scoring and even were taken out if they scored. Also the starters were put in other postions and given a chance to play in places they were not accustomed to. The fact that 12 goals were scored does not say they were all goals that their normal goalie would have gotten, some of them were not and should not have been. And another thign if they would have been trying to run up the score then why was the players who scored so spread out and why was it not clustered around the top scorers.
