I heard Tullahoma defeated Lincoln County 3-0 in a quite heated match. Anyone want to offer some details?

I agree with yankee, Shelbyville-Columbia-Tullahoma are going to be battling for the district title. Shelbyville has been consistent, and both Tullahoma and Columbia have fully recovered from rough starts and prepared to give a fight to the finish. Good luck in the tournament.

I'd have to say that District 8 is the stronger of the two districts. However, I couldn't say who will win out of that district. Shelbyville appears to be the top team, but I share yankee's optimism that other teams are stepping up and won't make it easy for anyone to dominate the district. The battle for the district 8 title will not be easy, and the winner, I predict, will eventually find themselves playing in Memphis.

Back to the subject of concern, how has Shelbyville been doing since their last meeting with Tullahoma? I know that Tullahoma's game has improved quite a bit and they have a lot of momentum coming out of their two wins this weekend.

Coffee County is looking a bit stronger than last year. We (Tullahoma) beat them 4-0 for our district match, but tied them 1-1 in our tourny. Watch for John Owens, a tall blond-headed kid, in the center, he pretty much controls the midfield. They also like to play to Hector, Hispanic forward. He's pretty quick and looks for the run and gun. Also, in the defense, John Graf, noticeable by his red curly hair, is pretty strong. He is pretty athletic and wins a lot of balls. Their keeper, Andrew Xixes, does have experience, but is pretty slow. I wouldn't go as far as saying that they are a strong team, but they are stronger than last year, they really lost one crucial player that I can think of, but you guys will probably be able to put them away.
