  1. This year Nashville doesn't really have too many good seniors. But if I had to rank the top 5 of what I have seen I would put.

    1st. Brandon Harriford/ Hume Fogg

    2nd. Ricardo Griffey/ Maplewood

    3rd. Chris Russell/ Hillsboro

    4th. Donny See/ Antioch

    5th. Joe Sanders/ Hillsboro

I believe that Nashville's Jr. & Sophmore Class will be pretty good.

  2. There is an sophmore guard at Hillsboro by the name of Robert Hudson who has improved tremendously over the summer, He will definitely be known by his junior or senior year depending on how much time he'll be getting this year. He's 5'6 and has great ball control, can pass, and he has a nice shot. He will be playing AAU next summer, him and his friends are trying to start they're own squad.

Nashville has changed a lot since last year. Maplewood will be very good. Stratford won't be as good as last year. Franklin won't be near as good. Brentwood will be about the same. Hillsboro will make it farther in the post season this year. Centennial will be good. If they mature fast they will make it far in the tournament this year. My picks for the two district champs will be Maplewood and either Hillsboro or Centennial.

As I have said before, McGavock will be the best in 12AAA and I believe Hillsboro will be very strong this year. Both of these teams got most if not all of their players returning this year. After these two, it will be a dogfight!!

    What do you guys think?

    :D:D

    12AAA McGavock or Maplewood

    11AAA Brentwood or Hillsboro

Region 6 Hillsboro or Maplewood/ McGavock

Hillsboro's first three games should be the toughest games for them for the whole season. They have 1st Antioch, 2nd McGavock, 3rd Maplewood, these first three games should show how prepared they are to face talent.

  4. How can you not put Hillsboro in the top 25. I believe that Hillsboro is going to have to win the state before they get east TN recognition. Hillsboro would be in alot of teams top 5 or 10 but for some reason they aren't in your top 25, have you seen them play there has to be a mistake.

  5. He had went to Antioch his freshman year, and he was the leading scorer on their freshman ball club. But I think it was smart for him to leave because of all of the Guards at Antioch. I don't think he's a better point guard than Nolan Richardson, and he isn't a better player than Mario Moore. So he was better off at Hillwood starting.:D

  6. The two best games that I seen were in the state tournament. Maplewood vs. Bearden, was one of the best games that I had seen last year. Stratford vs. Science Hill, was another good game that I seen last year.

    Maplewood vs. Bearden,

That was a very dissapointing game for me. It made me mad how Alex Oliver ran coast to coast to get an easy lay-up in the las 7 seconds.

    Stratford vs. Science Hill,

That game made me mad how Science Hill had called them two time outs going out of bounds, then when Stratford tried to do it the refs said it was out of bounds.

Them were the only games that I seen last year that had me standing up the whole 4th quarter.

  7. I think McGavock will win the two games, but I don't believe that the games are going to be blowouts. I think that it'll be two good games. It would be interesting to watch two different styles of basketball head to head. Everyones says how Division II teams have nothing on AAA teams this game will prove how true that statement is.

  8. I never judge summer league games because each team has football players who usually don't show up for summer league. Hillsboro for example, they never had their whole team their for one game, they have about 3 starters that missed most of summer league due to football and injury. Father Ryan didn't beat Stratford either, Stratford came one day and that one day that they came they played Antioch and Hillsboro. I'm just saying that you cant judge summer games because teams never have their full team do to summer school, camps, and other sports. But I do think Father Ryan should be in the top ten. I would definitely put them in my top ten.

  9. The first place Murfressboro Stars are 2-0 at the moment, with a 57-48 win over the N.C. Team Heat, and a 88-32 win over S.C. Clrendon Warriors.

Memphis Bellvue are 2-0 at the momemt, with a 81-49 win over the Orlando Lightning, and a 69-57 win over North Carolina Bulls.

Y.A.B. are 0-3 in their pool. they lost to Las Vegas Lightning, Minnesota Swoosh, and Garmer Road Bulldogs.

    scores 53-56, 60-64, 53-66.

Memphis Blackhawks are 3-0 in pool ply, they beat Houston Hoops 63-49, Iowa CR Wizards 80-66, and Illinois Wolves 63-49.

Mottep Panther are 0-2 at the moment, they lost Team Columbia SC 50-53,and they lost to FL Magic Hoops

    62-65.

    Memphis All-Stars are 1-1.

    Memphis Tigers are 0-2.

  10. I believe when it comes down to it Maplewood will be in the Region Championship, their opponent could be any of the following teams.

Antioch- Could possibly be their with the talent that they have, but for some reason I doubt it. Talent is the only thing that I think can take them into the championship, but in this case, talent just isn't enough.

McGavock- is a team that I think has a very good chance of being their with Maplewood, but there are other teams that could possibly knock them out.

Hillsboro- Has a very good chance of making it to the Region championship, but all of their major post players are football players. Hopefully their post players could stay in condition to play.

I would also like to mention Glencliff, and Whites Creek.

  11. What does tattoos, headbands, cornrolls, etc. have to do with your performance on the court? I've never known a headband, or a fro to hurt anyone's performance. I think coaches should be more concerned on how they play than how they look, because going by how they look doesn't change the score at the end of the game.
