  1. haHaHAHAHAHAH Now I understand why you kept referring to me as a Lebanon fan last year! You are right in the fact the truth is from Lebanon, but please read my screen name again. It clearly states thtruth, not truth. I hope this clarifies that misunderstanding.
  2. Quarterback from Riverdale will be the MVP of the district. Johnson from Smyrna will gain all the press. Mims and Locke from Blackman are the future. Yes, you need to look forward to OAKLAND in 2005.
  3. How can that be? Scedules from last year should be the same except for swapping home games and away games. How can there be a conflict in the schedule?
  4. Look who's back, Look who's back-- Riverdale will be at the top, while the dawgs will be nawling on their Heels. Those will be the top two spots, no questions asked. The Blaze and Devils will fill the next two spots, but one may get eat up by up and coming WC. Could be as early as week 2. Wc and Oaktown will be competing for those spots as well. Siegel is anothor year away and Lavernge will fall at the end. That's when they meet the beef of their schedule. Thomas from Riverdale will be MVP. But Johnson will get all the press. But be ware--Oaktown and WC are the one's that will make a splash.
  5. Coach Rankin and company will win---What number is this????? Go warriors!!!!!!! Region 4-5A is the strongest Region in TN and we support our region like no other!! Let's here it saturday night in the Boro!!!! I'l see you there guys!!!
  6. How does the Region shape up next year? Here is my picks----- Number 1 goes to--Riverdale-- everything back except the kitchen sink Number 2 goes to--Blackman-- softmore orientation begins(Locke and Mims) can't rule out the rest of the team. They were really young. Also, a good senior back. Number 3 goes to--Smyrya-- With J in the back feild and the recieving core back. Rumors are flying of possible defections, who cares--they'll be in top 4 Number 4 goes to-- Oakland-- Very few starters back, bujt a heck of a QB, some unknowns and a freshmen group that played great towards the end of the season. Oakland hasn't been this young for three years. Number 5 goes to--Lebanon-- Depleted at the skill position will hurt offense and special teams (#4). Graduation to key players!!! Number 6 goes to-- Wilson Central That's right. Won 3 games towards the end of season. Word is they have several kids with experience left Number 7 goes to-- Lavergne Lost 1 QB-- Kept one-- Good Junior class to be Is it enough to win-- Maybe Number 8 goes to-- Siegel Will win some games next year and maybee beat some people. Next yearsd MVP -- Thomas --Riverdale
  7. I know we are weeks off from the playoffs, but our teams are taking some unfamiliar key losses. Riverdale #1 1-0 district, 2-1 over all. Lost to Lincoln Co. Blackman #2 1-0 district, 1-2 over all. Lost heart breaker to crawford and Co. Oakland #3 1-0 district, 1-2 over all. Lost heart to Franklin. Lebanon #4 1-0 district, 1-2 over all, lost to Cookville Smryna #5 0-1 district, 1-2 over all, lost heart breaker to Gallatin. LaVergne #6 0-1 district, 1-2 over all, Win to Cumberland Co. Wilson Cen. #7 0-1 district, 0-3 over all, lost to county rival Mt. Juliet Siegel #8 0-1 district, 0-3 over all, lost huge again. Over all record for 4-5A 7-17 and only Riverdale with winning record. What's up with our district. :
  8. Earlier my prediction for Re: 4-5A was this 1. Riverdale 2. Oakland 3. Smyrna 4. Lebanon 5. Lavergne 6. Blackman 7. siegel 8. Wilson Central As of week one, this is the playoff picture!!! Since there hasn't been any district play yet, non-district rules apply by scoring. 1. Riverdale- Beat private school CPA 55-3. CPA needs to stick with class A ball. They might win another state title there. Riverdale, if you're going to play a private school division; play someone like Brentwood Academy with real talent. 2. Smyrna- Beat Hendersonville 24-17. Possible Sumner Co. winner. 3. Wilson Central- Lost nail bit'er 20-17 to Cumberland Co. I can't wait til Oaktown rolls over this powder-puff. 4. Lebanon- Lost 34-21 to metro hopeful Antioch. May compete with Hendersonville, Gallatin and Hunter's Lane. 5. Lavergne- Lost to MBA 29-0. Beaten by possible ranked team nationally. Where's Riverdale. My bad, they're scared of the Big private school division. 6. Oakland- Lost to BA 50-20. My boyz didn't far well. We'll see about this week. 7. siegel- Lost 50-19 to Coffee Co. Expected. 8. Blackman- Lost 51-0 to Lincoin Co. I thought Blackman was suppose to be good this year. Some people picked them second in the district. Still wishing to be Riverdale. What's your picks or suggestions for this next week?

    Region 4-5A

To JohnnyC and blsOL, Riverdale hasn't lost a district game in quite some time now!! Can you guys recall the last time they have lost a district game!! They have also played in several State championships and won a few of them!! They do deserve respect. Oakland hasn't beaten Riverdale or Lebanon in three years. That puts them second!! Oakland also can not lose to blackman or smyrna this year!! My boys have numbers returning, but little back-up. Must stay healthy and focused. Smyrna has Wolke and Shannon. Wolke makes their recievers look good by just passing to them. They also have good speed. Shannon makes the line look good. I've been told they have many lineman back and Shannon runs hard. Lebanon has A.J Stewart. Word is that they can make some noise. They do have good team speed. But they also lost some key incrediants from last year. Lavergne is huge and have a great coach in Thomas. Other than that, don't know much about them. What are their skill people like and whhat kind of defense do they run. Blackman lost several key players to graduation. They lost to Riverdale and lebanon pretty badly!!!! They beat some teams last year by getting lucky!!!! REAL LUCKY!!! Those teams will be looking for blood because they have numbers returning. Sorry, th truth hurts!!!! Siegial has a great coach, but unlike Blackman. They don't have a year to prepare before playing. They should get one win at least. Wilson Central has a new coach; is, another one. This year doesn't look better. Sorry if I hurt someone's feelings, but th truth hurts a little!!!

    Region 4-5A

1.) Riverdale #1 again----Until someone knocks them off, Riverdale like the past is King!!!! 2.) Oakland #2----Everything returning, but a win against Riverdale and Lebanon the past three years hasn't happen!! Good luck number 2!!!! 3.) Wiekeville or smyrna #3----Shannon must step up. 4.) Lebanon #4----Does anyone have the low-down on these guys. Everyone keeps talking crap about them. Same old Lebanon-talent, but no heart. 5.) LaVergne #5----Size helps win games, what about skill. 6.) Blackman #6----Quit talking about Riverdale-YOU ARE NOT THEM. 7.) Siegal #7----Will at least get one more win then Wilson Central. 8.) Wilson Central #8----3rd coach in 3 years----HEAD LINE----New coach in 2004 after 0-30 to start. GO OAKLAND, GOOD LUCK BOY's!!!!!!!

    lebanon!!

Seems Coach Brown and Co. has several supporters this week according to the board. That's a good thing for these Devils. Lebanon is loaded with opportunity, they must now make use of that ability. Unfortunatily, it might take time to develop. Does the company have that much time? I know Coach Brown sparingly, but he seems to be a knowledgeable guy when it comes to football. With talents like Stewart, Shockley, Vandever,Forest and Adams(when healthy), the devils could be a scarey bunch. From the stands, you still hear the bickering of idiots and want-a-be's. Last week I tried to get the attention of some and it didn't work as I had hoped. No, I'm not a coach, father, or board member, but a Blue Devil Fan. By the way, good post BLUEFAN. You deserve a lot of credit.
  14. Smyrna has a much better squad than Lebanon. We out size and out quick the Devils. They will not be able to stop our Qb or our running backs because we have such a big and talented offensive line. We could run up and down the field on the Devils because they simply can't tackle anyone. Therefore; poor tackling ='s many TD's for the dawgs. Homecoming will definately be a night to remember in the dawg house. Go Dawgs!!!!!!! Who let dawgs out? Lebanon of course. This puts us in the drivers seat for number 1 or 2 in the district. Watch out Blaze and Warriors. Your next. Thanks Devils!!!! We remember Mr. Forest and his TD. I hope he's ready for the Dawg house blues after this game. I'll be looking for after the game.
  15. Lebanon and Gallatin plays Sept. 27th at 7:30 in Lebanon!!! 1.) Who will win this match up? 2.) Did any of the new players for Lebanon contribuate to for the Blue Devils? 3.) Is coach Brown and his staff doing a good job? 4.) Is the powers that be helping or hurting the program? 5.) Are the parents stirring crap up as usual? We support our Blue Devils. Go big Blue! And we support you coach Brown and Company!!!!
