  1. Your right, Fletcher park would be better, but I still think there should be some kind of an award for the best individuals.
  2. You know me I like a nice 10 mile mountain run...lol, but on the track i like mile repeats.
  3. I agree, there should be a county championship race at Red Clay. The race there last year was pretty good. The course could have been marked a little better though. There should be a team trophy for girls team, boys team, and then the top male and female runners should get awards. That would be cool!
  4. Mustang running...I knew you'd say that lol
  5. Runnerboy, I have only raced twice this year and those times I ran unattached because of redshirting. The only way I will race for the team is if 2 people end up getting injured. But anyway how have your races been gowing? I hope your season goes well...StangsRrunnin, I appreciate the flattering words.
  6. I know you know who I am. Believe me I wasnt ********about how I was held back. I didnt mean for it to come across like that. I was happy with how fast I ran in highschool. I think I could have gone faster, but then again who doesnt. But no regrets here, Im just thinking ahead right now.
  7. bradleycc234...Who are you? I know you probably wont answer me, but I had to ask.
  8. I am not a Bradley runner, and I was just repling to what the thread was asking, I really have no problems with bradley's coaches because I dont run for them
  9. IF you want to be a good runner, you can be! BUT IF YOUR COACH IS HOLDING YOU BACK IT CAN MAKE THINGS A LOT HARDER!!!!!!!
  10. Actually Adam she did break 20 once before the state meet.
  11. Actually UTC is keeping their track program. But he is still looking. He is going to take a visit to Bellmont and also to MIlligane universty.

I can see bradley's guys getting in the top 5 at state. Everything will have to go perfect on the day of the state meet though. As far as bradley's girls, the talent is there but I dont see them getting in the top five this year.Maybe next year but they just havnt put in the summer miles needed to place that well. Bradley's guys have!
  13. Dusty Miller is the guy to watch! Also Im sure houston has some guys returning that are pretty good. Also I would look for Taylor to suprise everyone.
  14. Pole vaulting is a great sport. I think it would be a terrible think for it to be removed from track&field. There are lots of scholarships out there for vaulters. Besides, Even though it is dangerous, im sure the vaulters already know that when they start doing it. And all this talk about making helments mandatory is crazy . Those who want to should have that right and they do. But those who dont shouldnt have to. I think its stupid to make a rule that pretects someone from themself. If they feel like there life is in danger they should wear the helment without having to be told.
  15. Whats wrong with running all three ? Jeff Taylor isnt an 800 runner. He Just did it to see what he could do. It was after the 1600 and 3200 so it didnt matter if he was tired or not cause the events that he really cared about had already been run. Besides Jeff ran a 1:58 at the sub-sectional meet and that was just only with about 15 minuets of rest after doing a 4:35 mile. There have been years where 1:58 has won the state meet. It was worth a try. What did he have to lose? He just had a bad day at the state meet thats all. I dont think anyone can say they've never had a bad day before. Jeff just had his on the wrong day. I cant wait to see him run an 800 in a meet were he hasnt ran the 3200 and 1600 before it. He's never been fresh for the 800 before. The past 3 times he's ran it he went 1:58, 1:59, and a 2:02 at the state meet. Thats not to bad!
