  1. They did not show up at our meet. The distance will not be as strong due to the loss of Zach Moss to Karns. This puts Sidney Repp the top distance runner, and he will probably run the 3200, 1600, and 800. I haven't heard anything about Scooter this year. He is usually the back bone of the team with domination in the 400 and 200. And if Jeff Jennings runs a full season, their sprints should be pretty tough. Other than that, watch out for Morristown West. There just might be an end to the Conference winning streak by Jeff Co.

Why did Zack fo to Karns, when I talked to him last year he didn't seem very happy at where he was.

  2. the bchs sfball team has a very good shot this year. the pitching is of course great. every1 is making a big deal about there hitting ability. believe me that will be just fine. i just saw them pratice the other day and they are much improved from last years squad. they have very good infield play and are very strong outfield wise and have a very speddy base-runner in Marissa Bennett #22. Kanissa Webb is looking very very good this year and they have a very strong roatation. they have a freshamn pitcher that is just as good or better than Webb. the team is leaving for a tournament in Coca-Beach next week over spring break, u really cant tell how good they will do but it will be good competition. the team should have a good season and surprise some people.

  3. Jolley comes in a the two and plays a little point also but her indecisiveness keeps her on the beach most of the game.

Wow- Sounds like a plan to me. She is a lucky girl- The BEACH is where I'd like to be most of the time too, especially instead of in a hot sweaty gym!

  4. I believe my main goal as a coach is to ensure that the ladies go to college and become sucessful whether it be by having basketball carrying them through college (scholarship) or just being academically sound. In short, I just want them to say that they had a great time and developed memories that will last a lifetime as it has for me. I'm sure though that my philosophy of coaching will develop winners in time, on and off the court.

I was just wondering if you have Coached yet, or are just planning on it-because I haven't seen any Coaches in this town with that kind of thinking, although it would be nice!

  5. Sounds like a lot of crying going on...... Bradley stop making excuses. Awwwww you lost your best runners- awwwwwww, awwwwww, boo hoooo hoooo booo hoooo hooooo. Get better and then i'll give you the privelage to complain

I was just responding to what runnerboy said. " Do you think you can beat us when we are full strengeth" Does runnerboy really think he can beat us when we are full strength.

  6. then throwing the remark in the next weeks paper (the rules are posted in the coaches tent) that was not needed.

As some one said earlier...................It wasn't Cottons idea to post those rules in the tent, and also I do not believe He threw in the comment again in this weeks paper. Nobody gives the reporter any credit, maybe the reporter is like half of the people on here and he just likes stirring things up, or maybe he saw the rules posted and said whats this all about? It could have been any Coach that said anything. I just feel like Cotton gets all the fingers pointed at him at all the time, He's not that bad. He's being treated like a "problem kid" in school...he does one thing that somebody didn't like and then he's branded for life. This is my final post (on this subject anyways) You guys minds are already made up. There is no point in hashing it out any further, lets let this thread die. I guarantee if any other Coach was being slammed like this it would have already been removed.

  7. Very true trackboy I think our team is doing fine this year considering what all has happened and that we are missing two of our key runners. Jeffery Garret a freshman last year first race of the season ran 17:09 at Milton Hill Dam then got injured. Then he started out this summer good running awesome then he got a stress fracture that he only now recently came back from. Kyle Mcdowell last year as a junior ran 16:27 at state and he should be one of our best runners this year but he had some heart problems and just came back alittle over a week ago.

  8. Cotton needs to learn a little bit more about Cross Country. His training philosophy is terrible for developing runners and doesn't even produce good times. First step would be reigning in his banshees the first 800m.................

We might have some runners that go out hard, but why do you think that is the coaches philosophy? Maybe that is the runners choice. One of Mcminn's runners has been injured is that his coaches fault? You can not blame everything on the coach like some people like to do if things are not going there way.
