WOW!! You sound like a kid that couldn't make it or a parent of a kid that couldn't make it. Don't feel bad. Football is not for everyone. Don't hate on the kids that tough it out. The coaches are not the reason for the 1-3 start this year. Players have to make plays and I think that will happen this week.

THEY DID !!!!! Congrats to White County tonight in a hard fought 21-14victory. On a side note, it was refreshing to finally hear the after game sports reporters on WAKI and Ben Lomand channel , tell it like it is in their criticism of the Warren County football team. I really couldn't agree with them more. However, it is hard to beat anyone when you turn the ball over 5 times !!!! If we can win just 2 more games this year, I would consider it a success. We will beat hapless Cumberland County, but who else ????

Your showing your lack of football knowledge or just being a total ***hole. I read in the paper they had over 200yds rushing and could move the ball at will. I guess play calling caused all the fumbles. The line must have blocked someone up front to gain that many yards. This team is young and is showing it. But I guess that the coach's fault to.

77 What DADS are you referring to then? High school or Middle school. You seem to know more about the programs than anyone else so explain yourself.

WOW!!! 77 son must have lost some playing time. I haven't heard of any new kid showing up and being put in the starting lineup. As for summer workouts, they used to voluntary as long as you can pass the test at camp.

Offensively Warren County will struggle a lot this year. Losing 10 offensive starters will do that to any team. The good news is they have a different offensive coordinator who surely can have more success than the last one. If Dekalb scores 17+ Warren County will not be able to put up enough points to hang with them.

They have 11 new offensive players and only 3 returning defensive players. The better news is they have a new defensive coordinator this year that surely can have more success than the last one. /blink.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":blink:" border="0" alt="blink.gif" />

If you had seen last years middle school team you would understand why the turn out for freshman is so low.

can you be to strong or to much in shape?

This years team looks to be in better shape but overall weaker than last years. Last year they seemed to have a lot players that didn't think they needed to do what was asked of them.

From what I have read this fall, Dekalb has put it all together this year and warren county is in the rebuilding mode. I hope we can pull out a win this year because they seem to be loaded and ready to put a W on us. The paper said we have struggled in scrimmages and Dekalb has won all of theirs. We don't need to take them lightly.

Warren County is going to be in the same district beginning with the 2009 season with Coffee County, Cumberland County, Cookeville, White County, and Stone Memorial.

According to TSSAA, Stone will be in the AA bracket and not in our district. We will have only 4 district games and will have to find 6 games to fill out the the season.

VOTE! This is the first step to getting rid of the good ole boy network. The administration is always contradicting itself.

What position coaches are still looking for? How many full time coaches do they have now? Its hard to get info down here so any would help. No matter how far you go, you still have pioneer pride and it hurts when your alumni goes so far down.

Nitro I ask this question because you alluded to it in your post. Do you or does anyone else think the administration at the highschool namely the principal is trying to force Coach Madewell out the door. I like and respect both coach Madewell and coach Smith, but from the outside looking in it seems they are really attempting to tie the hands of the head football coach. It is a shame how much the staff has been depleted with no hires being made. It is also a testament to coach Madewell and the others that they are working their tails off regardless of the situation. Once again a sad commentary of the decision makers for the highschool especially the principal. When will the madness end.

I think the principle is out to get rid of Madewell by doing all this crap to the program. HE don't have the B**** to fire him. The football program is the only one that has even come close to being competitive.

Great young man, has new ideas, very bright and is educated (something that has been lacking in both school board and county comm.) Will not be bullied by other board members, will not vote just to go along with Dr. Hale, will try to get rid of the excess pork in the central office. That should be enough.
