Why did he never make it to the NBA, he was an excellent player??? Did he ever get the opportunity??

I seen Celina play Clarkrange the other night and boy are these two teams good. The thing i loved most about this game, was that you could see it in the girls eyes, both wanted to win. I dont know if it would be possible, but a all 7A state final would be awesome, because both of these teams leave it all on the court. I would love to see these two face off when the stakes are that high, because i saw how intense they were when they were battling for the district title, i can only imagine how intense it would be for state. I am from RBS and i have been looking at other single A teams from around the state and i seen where you guys got beat by McCallie on Dec 3 94-48, and i was just wondering what happened? I know you guys are suppose to be awesome and i saw that score and was shocked, not saying McCallie is not a good team, i was just wondering what happened? Did you not have all your players from football? Was someone injured? Just a bad night? Just wondering. And also i was wondering how good the Skogen and Wadley kids are, i have heard they are fine players, can i get some stats? Do you guys have depth and how goos are they? Thanks and good luck!!!

I am not saying they will but i have watched enough High School basketball, to know any team can lose to any team, on any given night. As for the nice trip home, there is no room for that on this board, just keep that stuff to yourself!!!!

I have not forgotten that Westmoreland beat RBS, but in my opinion, that was probably the best thing that could have happened, because i think it got our guys refocused and they went and won a Distrist Tourney. I have nothing but respect for Westmoreland and Celina both but i have seen them play and i think Celina is a few points better than the Eagles, but that is just one persons opinion????

I am doing a speech in one of my college classes and if anyone would take a moment to answer a few questions, it would be greatly appreciated. It is concerning student athletes, and the importance of academics. 1. Do you think that athletics are becoming more important than academics? If so why? 2. Student-Athlete question. Do you feel that sports consumes more of your time than academics? 3. Student-Athlete question. Do you feel more pressure to succeed in academics or in athletics? 4. Do you feel that athletes are more or less successful in academics than non-athlete students? Why? 5. Do coaches put in general put more emphasis in academics or athletics? 6. Why do you play sports? 7. Do student-athletes in your opinion have a better chance to go to college than a non-student athlete? why? 8. What is more disappointing, losing the district championship or failing a final exam? 9. How many hours do you spend a week studying and how many practicing? 10. I was there and I didnt see anything being thrown by anyone? But even if it did happen, there is no way you can say, someone from RBS did it, because there were fans there from Pickett and Clarkrange also, not to mention people that were there from other district teams. Myself I didnt see anything thrown at anyone and i had a pretty good view of everything, and RBS fans were very classy as they stood an applauded every team. Good Luck to all!!!!!1

If the Colter twins get hot, we will at least be in the game, and it would be nice to see them pull it out?? But what are the odds? Colter twins can knock down 4-5 three's in a row and the other team dont even know what happened?

Celina has a good coach and good players and are very dangerous to any team. RBS will do very well if they play like they know how, like they did against Pickett earlier this season. As for teams in this region not being able to compete, that has to be one of the worse comments ever made on coacht, how can you sit here and say that these teams cant compete? I have seen RBS, Pickett, Celina, Clarkrange, Westmoreland, Trousdale, and Gordonsville all play and they are all legit teams with very hardworking attitudes. Besides you cant even say they cant compete, because most of these teams will more than likely be facing teams that they have never faced before, so how can you say that? Lets me tell you something my dad used to tell me, "Don't count your Chickens, until the eggs hatch". I think either of these teams would make a fine showing for the region, i just hope that it will be RBS!!!!!!!

Celina is a real good team with a chance to go far, but i think RBS will stop them. They have a few good post players and a lighting quick point guard.

The sign was great, because it was all in fun, it didnt say anything rude. You guys must never watch college ball, because they are always making signs like that and screaming, so i guess every college basketball program in the country is classless to right? Good Job RBS, keep playing hard!!!

I thought i would never live to see this day, RBS is District Champs, at boys basketball. Hey what can i say just a great game, class and respect from both sides, and fans for both teams were out to give their team any advantage possible. Matt Heady for Red Boiling Springs, is just a Sophmore, and he will be expected to pitch in some big games this season. He pitched alot of the big games last season for RBS as a freshman, and was very successful, and as an 8th grader took the mound on several different occasions and was successful.

I got the closest, I said earlier that Celina would win by 8, and the deficit was 7.

Both teams played very well and i was very impressed with both, but two players imparticular, Snow for Clarkrange and Deana from Celina. Both of these teams wanted this game bad, it was just too bad that one had to lose. These teams could meet again in the Regions, and that is a game i would love to see. Congrats to Celina for being the 7A champs and Clarkrange for being the runner-up!!!!!!!

I had the opportunity to watch both teams play yesterday, and was impressed with both, but i will have to say i like Celina by 8. The Snow girl is a real player and she let the ref get to her alittle last night and for Clarkrange to have a chance she needs to overlook the things like that, Good Luck to both teams. What time does Clarkrange and Celina play? What time does everyone else play?
