Actually the coach at MTCS was still trying to figure out why he got a bye with a freaking losing record at 4-6.............

 

BigDaddy -- that one is easy and well-settled. Both teams were the top 1A playoff team in their respective districts. However, MTCS finished 3rd in their district and Gordonsville finished 4th. You may or may not agree with the process or the results but that was the reason.

and volunteer your services to give up your weekend to break down film with him so you can show him what to do in every situation and point out every tendency that the opposing offense to face has

i know he will be so happy that you have come in to save the day, his reputation as a coach, and his team from doom
