The young ladies I spoke of in my first post are going to stay together as Tennessee Stars next year. This group is very talented and they have great coaches working with them in AAU. Their HS coaches will be happy to have these young ladies. Four of the five are players from the Tn Radiers club that seperated. Molly McFadden came this year and was a welcomed addition. Jazmine,Katie,Shauna,and Aylissa have played together for three years and with a few more additions this will be a team to watch in the next few years as Tennessee Stars.

A very big thanks to Coach Carson and Coach Parker for the great job you did with the young ladies this year. I know that each high shool coach will be very excited about the skills and the desire that you taught our group of girls. The future looks bright and we are looking foward to next year. Thanks again for all that you coaches do. JAWS

Jazmine Wright will be one of the top freshman this year in Knoxville with Carter HS.Jazmine has been one of the top players in Knoxville middle school for the last three years.Also watch out for Molly McFadden and Shauna Haley (White Co. HS) along with Alyssa Bryant(Anderson Co. HS)and Katie Jennings(Meigs Co.)All of these young ladies will be fun to watch in the upcoming years. [Edited by jhnthreejays on 7/1/02 9:41P]

I want to congradulate the young ladies from the Tn Stars 13U on their play in the state tournament in Cookeville this past weekend. You proved alot of people wrong. After the dust cleared we are going to the Nationals. You young ladies came together under some circumstances that adults put you in and played hard. The Nationals will be hard however I know that you will have fun and we will have fun watching you play.Remember alot of teams would love to be in your spot. I also want to say to the adults (you know who you are) we have a great program and the young ladies are learning basketball from two of the best coaches around. The grass is not always greener on the other side. A big Thanks to Coach C and Coach P for all you have done with this group of young ladies. As you always say DARE TO DREAM!!!!!! Go Stars
