  1. griz won 6 in a row with a win over atlanta...... hubie rules
  2. halls plays a very tough schedule with the likes of obion, brighton, humboldt, middle college, dyer co,trenton, usj, south fulton and even AAA dyersburg.
  3. looks like gomab's gonna be gettin some coal in his stocking!!! lol
  4. gomab, when will your new team rankings be updated????/
  5. dane strayhorn xavier webb brandon shane im not hearing enough about strayhorn, guess he will have to burn some of you guys for 30 points before he gets your attention.
  6. rematch should be a roof riser no doubt. glad to see you guys get back on track...
  7. just wanted to drop in on the dyer county score. dyer co 55, lake co 24 dyer county defense is only allowing 34 points per game. like i have stated earlier, this is by far the most defensive dyer co team i have seen.
  8. no doubt about it the halls/ dyer co games are some of the best around. always a heartbreaker for someone but i wouldnt miss them for the world.... hope to see ya thursday nite.
  9. dyer county improved to 4-0 tonite with a win over lake county, not sure of the final score due to not being able to attend. trying to beat the weather and get the cotton out. lol. i think im gonna show up at the obion game, that should be one heck of a barn burner.. would be nice if we could both return to state, like you said we can wish.. ive never understood what dyer co and halls did to everyone on here, guess they dont like us cause we beat them....
  10. kenia, where is the obion central game gonna be at thursday???? thanks for the results on tonites game..
  11. can you say andre allen??????? if he dont win for some odd reason then repeat after me, tyler smith, i cant hear you, say it again tyler smith.lol
  12. my 2 cents 1 bolivar 2 haywood 3 south side 4 ripley 5 fayette ware 6 dyer co 7 westview 8 union city 9 covington 10. lexington
  13. id really jack halls on up to a top 5 or better, they can really play. dane strayhorn may be averging around 27 a game but he sure aint the only scorer they have. if they keep playing like they have been it wouldnt be a suprise to see them make one good run at the state.
  14. ill bet louisville and rick pitino know all about them also
  15. he had 34 last nite, man that kid is on roll isnt he?
  16. i attended the halls brighton game last nite and was really impressed with the way halls played. dane strayhorn sure seems to be having a breakout year. what grade is dane in now?????? cant wait till the dyer county game, those always seem to be very good games
  17. dyer county boys currnetly stand at 3-0 with wins over greenfield , brighton, and gibson county. this dyer county could possibly win more games than lasts years squad did. this is by far the most defensive dyer county team ever assembled!!!!!!!
  18. you have a point! they have a bulls eye on their back due to last season success and who wants to be ranked #1 in the beginning? its the end that matters. i honestly think the change in coaching is hurting worse than i thought it would.
  19. it is gonna be a long road for those boys. they have had to deal with alot this past year. i look for them to make to substate maybe but thats as far as i can see them going right now unless they really get in a groove
  20. folks i think we all need to take into consideration that greenfield has played some very tough teams in dyer co, west carroll, and union city. union city is no bad team at all to be losing to for they are one very athletic and extremely well coached ball team.
  21. i was really hoping northside would have their act together better than that. hopefully they realize they have to come out and play every game not just a few. they should learn from this one.
  22. obion central will emerge the winner. dj gammons will be too much for milan.
  23. no doubt about it, brian fisk will be just fine and i hope he continues to improve like he always does. we havent seen what brian fisk can really do yet but all in do time we will see. another thing, brian really made an excellent decision in choosing schools in my opinion. they are div 1 and can play in the big dance just like duke and carolina. at first i was just wondering why he chose lipscomb but now i know and he did right. it sure is nice to see that #34 jersey in the gym at dyer county retired.
  24. been keeping tabs on brian fisk formerly of dyer county high school who is now with lipscomb. brian is currently the teams leader in scoring, rebounding, asst, steals and minutes played after the first three games. he had 17 pts, 7 reb in tonites game, and also had a game of 19 pts, 7 reb, 3 stls in 25 minutes. not too bad for a freshman playing div 1 ball.
