Why are you so interested in what goes on in Metro if you are going to be the Defensive Coordinator and Head Baseball Coach at Lavergne High School next year?

ENE, The word in Wilson County is that no more new baseball facilities can be added. My understatnding is that LHS was ready to add a locker room on campus near the existing building and the Title IX lawsuit has stopped it. Were you not at Lebanon during the fundraising efforts for the existing building?

The program is in good hands with Scott Hunt. He has proven he can be competitive in this brutally tough district. I hope the administration will allow him to have good assistants. Good luck to Scott and the Cookeville High baseball program.

Who will be the Head Softball Coach at Siegel High next year?

Time usually works things out. If the coach in question is what he is accused of being, time will weed him out. I have seen this man in action on the sidelines since the accusations were made some weeks ago and it seems he gets real involved when things go well or it is to his advantage for the crowd to "see" him coach. As far as Coach Brown having control of his coaches go, these men should be professional enough to handle themselves. BLUEFAN seems to be a parent of a player that is disgruntled, jas is a player that is disgruntled, and it would appear that BIG1-TRUTH has logged on again in a different name. Trevor is probably from Trousdale Co. Unless you only have 11 players playing every play, every game, someone is going to be unhappy. I am still amazed that Lebanon and Warren County football seem to dominate this message board. Those are the thoughts of an observer. I have missed one game. I am one the faces in the crowd that people probably ask "Who is he and why does he come?" The answer is that I love high school football except for the parents who want to run the show and the coaches who think they are the game. Let the players play and the fans cheer and support. I will see you tonight, go Blue! We will have to play good defense and take care of the ball to win.

As of 9:30 this morning, the three threads concerning LHS Football had 1,471 hits. That in itself tell me one or two things. There is either a lot of interest in the program or that the same group of people want to run the program down. Interest in the program is a great thing. Especially after the Oakland game. The team played hard and kept Oakland out of the zone when their backs were against the wall. The offense and special teams punch it in three times. On the subject of all the bashing and finger pointing at the assistant coach is only detremental to the work going on. If the said assistant is talking behind the head coaches back, it will be found in due time. My only caution to the true fan is to temper your enthusiasm when you win and don't jump ship if they lose again. Coach Brown was hired to coach, let he and his staff coach and encourage those playing the game. There are always going to be disgruntled people inside and outside the program. I am confident that a former assistant is constantly on this board running down the program. There are two different times when someone has confronted him on this board and he was silent for a long time. Take his lead, all of you people who are looking for only the bad, and get off the boards. Good luck this week against the Green Wave.

The ONE PERSON saddened by the outcome Saturday, was BIG1, UNOIT, AND TRUTH. He seems to enjoy the games LHS plays poorly. Congratulations to the Devils. The comment by Coach Brown about the players playing the game was right on mark. They played hard and set the tone on the opening kickoff on the hit by Dillard. Now as fans lets not get too high by a great win nor too low if they fall again. Support the program and Go Devils!

I have read on this board for some time and have a suggestion for all those who want to talk about Lebanon Football. Let the man they hired to coach football do his job. Until you walk a mile in his shoes, you have no idea what his job entails. Football at Lebanon should be about the players that play the game and not the coaches, former or current. UNOIT, BIG1, and TRUTH all sound like the same author. Do the research yourselves and compare the style and language used. Sounds like a guy either on the inside or with some pretty good sources.
