The coach of the year luck must have ran out!!!!! I have always said you can't do wrong and expect something good to come out of it. Armstrong was smart, I just wish a couple more did the same thing.

She even did something wrong to her own player on her team. (can we say the real MVP)

Stats (not just score) are not a consideration if it was then our district made a big mistake.

I think alot of districts has huge mistakes in it. But I guess if the coach can live by it we can live with out it. But it must rest heavily on their hearts.

No, I am a team fan, unlike you Columbian, and the boxscores tell all, Ross wasn't guarded and it seems as if the competition came with big J and the Bullock kid. So get your facts straight, and I doubt if she had that many rebounds, you can't rebound and run from the ball. We have a watch dog at all games, and if the competition is tough, the Ross kid is out of the picture.

here's yours 19 points with 3 people in her face at all times. if you want to throw someone in our face you better use your post players. There was no one in Ross face all night long, unless she was playing at another gym.

Janay didn't receive a warm welcoming from Columbia last night, it was nice to see that she kept her composure. But after reading the paper, Columbia post combined for 29 points and 16 rebounds, so are you saying that the post players are your problem, because every time you read something from the Columbian is always this post player that everyone is waiting on, she must be dynomite or the next best thing to Candace Parker.

everybody know coaches can't play but can they coach and was you on the bench to hear the coaches say take it to them and if they didn't, you got a bench don't you take them out, again if the players don't listen to the coach you still have problems.

I came all the way from the 'Boro to see this match, it looks to me like Central got out coach tonight. You had 3 girls that were their best shooters all with 4 fouls and all three finish the game. No way. how did they finish the game, someone needs to be talking to the coach.

It not personal, it something that you do not know anything about. Personal, is when you try to down children and that is when almost everyone on this board should be reported.

Showtime, you do not know everything, for your information, Janay could have went to Columbia, or SpringHill. She happens to live in an area that she could have chosen either, she just so happen to choose springhill and then change her mind, and sat out her year. Her choice. no business of yours.

And again let me state that we play as a team, so one person do not run any show in Columbia, so with out this person or that doesn't pertain to this team.

what difference does it makes where she played junior high school ball at, Nancy has her personal reason as to why she is in Columbia, and it need not to be brought up in this mess

columbia fans should be there in numbers tomorrow night. the girls will be playing for 1st and hopefully the boys will too, but nonetheless, both teams will be playing and will have a chance for not only undefeated and regular season champs, but the tournament titles as well. best of luck to the lions and lady lions!!

I am glad you brought this up, the fans is the one thing that was missing last night, I hope Friday night Columbia will come out and filled the gym and cheer for the Lions and Lady Lions.

Last night the girls had their dedicated parents and a few of the guys parent and the cheerleader parents, but I thought there should have been a lot more people there to cheer them on.

Got one question? I agree with the coaches and say that Armstrong is the best player in the district this year. If you take her off Columbia then they are not near as good as they are now. My BIG question is, how can you say they are a girls power house??????? You have one good year every 5 years. That is not what you call a powerhouse. Congrats on the good year but note that was regular season. It is tourney time now and we all know who the most dangerous team in the STATE is in the tournaments          BEWARE OF THE LITTLE GENERAL AND HIS ARMY AND DON'T SLEEP UNTIL THEY ARE PUT AWAY FOR THE YAER!!!!

showtime, how do you figure that if you take Janay off the team, Columbia wouldn't be good. They went to the state last year without Janay. And you were very interested in some of those girls to be on your aau team. So I don't think you opinion is worth two cent. What you need to do is try to get the general some real soldiers to work with for the tournament.
