Was told the Grace coaches didn't shake hands, but I'm only going on what I heard from Oakdale people. I will find out for sure though.

Let's stick to football on this thread and what Grace Christian Academy did Friday night. Can anybody honestly defend what the coaches did in the fourth quarter to high school kids?

Ram Fan we're waiting on all the pain and suffering you have had to struggle with 4 or 5 years ago. What were the games, what were the scores and how did you feel?

Trust me when I say I have accepted my share and yoyur share of criticism over the years and a lot of it was justified. For you to be such an outsider, you have shown more interest than most of the Grace folks why is that? Thanks for putting me in my place and I won't bother you again.

We know that gas prices are soaring and Raceway is a local gas supplier and the supplier usually price gouges to take advantage of those that can't do anything about it. What about Graceway for the rising scores Grace wants to put op on their scoreboard against those that can't do anything about it.

I think I might have some fun with this situation in next week's paper and have a contest for the new nickname for Grace Christian Academy, presently called the Rams. Anybody got any good ones to start with? What about the Run-it-up-Rams? What about McKamey's Mercy Men? What about GCA's run it up all the way?

Being an outsider as you say you are, then you really don't have a reason to get on this thread. So you can move on.

To be honest, I don't know that anybody from Oakdale has posted on here. A lot of people from other places and other schools. This thread has nothing to do with Tennessee football, don't know where you got that.

Smashmouth I love the Jack Lambert pic. One of my all-time favorite players. I'm with you on taco bell, I probably been one of their top investors overthe years. Goose can vouch for me on that.

Following the 1997 Sunbright at Cloudland, I had a Sunbright player reach into his game pants and pull out the news article where I picked Cloudland to win. That still ranks as one of the top motivations that I had proof of from a player lol.

Lets just say you don't have a clue diddler. If the score would have been 61-60 we wouldn't be having this discussion. The fact is that the coaches at GRACE CHRISTIAN ACADEMY need to learn how to win and lose with CLASS. You don't rub another team's nose in defeat. Hope you get the message.

There are probably a few kids that could help that play basketball. But I'm sure it is like that at every school. I know that Ryan Slusher and Cameron Pridemore would be solid additions to what Grace already has in football.

I was the one that started this post because it directly affected one of my schools that I cover. I can't speak about South Pittsburg, because I haven't really kept up with their scores to be honest and I really don't care.

Oakdale only had 17 out in the spring and then after their former coach left right before fall practice numbers picked up to about 25 or so.

As for the Grace coaches, a lot more can be said by what they do unto to others. The true character of a person is revealed when they are faced against an obstacle. The obstacle was Oakdale and the Grace coaches failed miserably in upholding the christian values that I'm sure Grace Christian Academy is supposed to have.

I know that six of their star players are from somewhere else. Logan Little (QB #15), Colin Powell (OL #76), Phillip Hester (RB #3) and Blake Hester (DB #8) came from Clinton, and David Amos (RB #24) and Mitchell Taylor (#10 WR) attend Knoxville Christian School. Where did Eric Williams (WR #5) come from? I know Isaiah Roberts (OL #78) is from Oliver Springs. What other kids on the team came from another school? Just curious.

Just out of curiosity, I would like to know where all the Grace starters go to school or where they came from?

Diddler, at Oakdale you are never going to have the 45-50 that Grace Christian Academy is fortunate to dress. The numbers are just not there. The fact that Oakdale doesn't have a rich tradition in football (they have had some really good girls basketball, boys basketball, baseball, and softball teams) doesn't help with the numbers issue either. They have to play the card they are dealt and they take a lot of pride in their school and play the best they can with they have.

We can do that, but it makes it a lot more fun when you come up with your lame excuses.

Take it from a man that has had a few Fred Burgers in his day, those are some good eating burgers at Oakdale. Eat up and enjoy some good football at Oakdale this Friday night.

You are probably right Kaz, I guess I have been a little hard on the folks at Grace. I guess it just makes me mad that Oakdale would get done this way. They have suffered through a lot of losses over the years in football and those kids still play their hearts out every Friday night. You have to admire those young men that put on the red and white to represent Oakdale on the football field.

I guess diddler took his ball home to play. Don't won't to play no more diddler?
