  1. How many final season number one rankings in baseball across America, albeit mythical, does TN boast? Just wondering if anybody knows the answer. VolunteerGeneral, good question btw; maybe CA and FL's high school athletic associations have strict guidelines to how many games can be played and who can be played against....just a thought.
  2. Germantown defeated the Collierville Lady Dragons 8-6 on Wednesday night. Congratulations!!!
  3. Yea, I'm obviously the coach, or not. Coach Clark already has a name on Coact.....i believe it is pcoach........
  4. Okay, whatever you want to say, I'm just sharing about the success of one coach. Sorry if you can't relate because you were in Coach Pitch and feel the need to have an attitude about 1995.
  5. Coach Phil Clark, Germantown 1995!!! Led the Red Devils to the 1995 National Title with a 38-0 record, the 1995 state title, the 1992 state runner-up, the 1993 state runner-up, the 1998 state runner up, and the 2001 state title. He was also the National Coach of the Year like Coach Pharr at Farragut.
  6. Germantown: Wins: 454 Losses: 209 Ties: not for several decades %: 69% wins, 30% losses, <1% ties
  7. After beating Houston 5-3 earlier in the season, the Red Devils finished the job with a 3-0 decision over the homestanding Mustangs.
  8. After a state title season in 2003, the Germantown Red Devils look to defend their throne. The following is the schedule: JAMBOREE 8/13 Covington 8/20 Kingsbury 8/27 Whitehaven 9/3 CBHS 9/10 Hamilton 9/17 Cordova 9/24 Houston 10/1 Kirby 10/8 White Station 10/15 Collierville 10/22 THEN PLAYOFFS BEGIN GOOD LUCK RED DEVILS, LOVE THE CLASS OF 2004!!!
  9. The Germantown Red Devils used 3 runs in the 6th inning to down Tate, FL. The Devils won an unprecedented 3rd consecutive title in the tourny. The only other team to capture three is Oakland (two in a row '99, '00). Congratulations Germantown!!! Bow Down!
  10. The Germantown Red Devils upset another nationally ranked team by picking off Christian Brothers High School 2-1 Friday night in the USA Classic. The Devils look for an unprecedented 3rd consecutive title Saturday night! Good luck!
  11. Mmmm.....not so much. The Covington Chargers are not a bad team----the difference in Germantown and Houston was a national rating.....Houston was pulling rank around number 15 in the country (Baseball America)....Germantown is not rated in the top 50.....nice try with the Covington upset....except.....it wasn't one.
  12. Germantown proved that they are once again in the race with Collierville and Houston as the Red Devils upset Houston 5-3 on Red Devil Field, Tuesday night. Congratulations Red Devils....taught those ponies a lesson!!!
  13. Just a note.........Germantown's 1995 National Champion team was the first (and might still be) national champion with an undefeated record over 35....they finished 38-0 after winning the Upper Deck Tourn. in SoCal in March 1995.
  14. Rebelguy, how do I represent all of Germantown.....lol....let's judge the whole barrel by one bad apple (I guess I'm calling myself the bad apple but I don't care). I'm not on here trash talking Franklin--that would be white trash. I had no intention to post on this message board UNTIL I read about how Franklin should have won the Germantown game. <------this is why I posted, not because I know so much about Williamson County football.
