  1. Bradley didn't wrestle 364 days last year, as lovin stated earlier. They took the whole week off before Christmas. Not that there is anything wrong w/that, the coach cut them loose to spend time w.their family and I admire that. Just noting the error.

  2. nah, that's ok. i talked with mr. pala and i am convinced he's clean on the issue. i really don't need to speak with anyone from anywhere; i know he is of good moral character. please feel free to resume your witch hunt, the case is closed as far as i'm concerned.

  3. by the way, it seems that people living in that neighborhood need to open a history book...lol. I spoke to Pala about the flag in question and it is a pre-WWI flag that he raised because he is a history buff, which is how the flag was passed to him. The flag dates way back before Hitler or his regime was even a twinkling in the German eye. It very remotely resembles anything that could be attached to the nazis. I find it hilarious that some of you run and jump into the deep end of the ocean and stand up on your self-righteous pulpits before you even know what's going on. Furthermore, Pala is of Polish descent, so perhaps he must be trying to offend himself as well...lol. Anyway, @@@@ 'EM UP AND PIN 'EM DOWN!

  4. I want to point out something I observed this weekend at the Powerade Invitational. I was talking with a friend who had a daughter working the tournament as a Soddy Daisy Little Sister. The little sisters worked the tables for the tnmt both friday and saturday night. It appeared that little sisters were stationed at probably 90% of the tables and doing most or all of the bout sheet running. These girls work extremely hard and are very dedicated, and they are very often underappreciated. At most tournemants these girls work, the tournament directors understand this and take care of the girls by feeding them in their hospitality room. Apparently, they are taken care of everywhere they go w/the exception of the Powerade Invitational. These girls work non-stop at a thankless job, and they were offered a coupon for a slice of pizza??? I used the hospitality room one time to grab some water and I saw mccallie kids all over the place munching out, so why not invite the little sisters in as well? maybe this sounds petty, but I feel it's worth mentioning. If we don't take care of the people who work to support our sport, then we are collectively shooting ourselves in the foot because those good people who help out will go away. Case in point, i was told the little sisters would not work that tnmt again even though they tried to smooth things over by giving them some of the t-shirts they couldn't sell at the end. Also, I saw several instances were tnmt staff were really rude to some of these gals. Remember, these are just students trying to help out and do the best they can.

  5. is there a direct link to the brackets? i followed those directions and i found the mccallie invitational info page, but i don't see a tournament results link. maybe it's because the hamster doesn't turn the wheel very fast in my old computer. any help would be much appreciated. thanks.

  7. I have read many posts about a James vs. Leen matchup. Most of the posts are completely negative toward one of the two wrestlers and positive for the other. The truth is both James and Leen would be embarrassed by the many things posted on their behalf. Both of these guys work extremely hard and neither of the two seek out the spotlight. Kyle loves to work out with Jordan in the summer because he knows it makes him better; he respects (not fears) Leen. I'll bet Jordan feels the same about Kyle; why else would he seek him out for a work-out partner. Both wrestlers are classy kids and neither would duck anybody! While I think Kyle is awesome for wrestling in a heavier weight class than he actually has to, I don't think Jordan is anything less.

  8. I agree with Rabitt. I know for a fact that the only reason James is even wrestling 119 is to make a place for his buddy, the Fuller kid, in the line-up. It helps the team to have that freshman, James, and Brown in their line-up. James could easily be at 112 and he told me he will definitely be at 112 for the summer, Fargo, etc.

  9. The only way Cordell can beat James is by scoring quickly and then shutting the match down by stalling it out. James beats Cordell in the past when they have a ref who will call a stall. I don't think that would even matter this year, Cordell goes down easily to James!

  10. Is Jordan Leen wrestling at 119 or 125. It would be nice to know. Definitely worth the drive over if he is going to be wrestling James, if James hasn't dropped to 12 yet. I think Leen wrestled 25 at the NC tnmt, but that was preseason.

  11. I don't think Cordell has enough offense for James. Brown beat Cordell with little problem last year, so I think james would handle Cordell easily. But, if Cordell scores one point he'll just shut down and stall the match out, try to win that way.
