12aaa has alot of shooters and they score alot of transition buckets the defene is good its just that the games are so fast paced that there are going to be alot of points scored. some of the best games in tn are in 12aaa and not only Glencliff the whole district is good with no win guaranteed that's basketball when you can go to a game and not be sure in who will win those games are the most interesting and attract the most people.

Cobra Fan Why you hatin on David he may be playing now like a top 15 d1 prospect but PAlmer is good. One thing you were right about is which ANtioch team will show up they play off adreneline and in spurts. Going to need something big to happen for them to beat Glencliff kinda like when they beat McGavock. It will be a good game come out and watch everyone it will be worth it.

McGAvock the #1 team in the midstate went into double overtime last night against Antioch and loss. It was a good game all night started off like it was going to be a blowout when McGAvovk jumped on Antioch 20-4, but Antioch kept on fighting and began to rally after a huge put back dunk by Quincy Douglas. the article is at www.Nashvillecitypaper.com you can read the rest.

I still see Antioch creeping into the region as a healthy team not to mention they do have home court in the district and the region and in high school home court does play a big difference players know there gym and that may help Antioch in the long run

I don't think losing coach gamble is the difference cause they lost gamble and gained coach B who is a great coach also. Losing Barry does make a big difference Bubba has no inside to go with his outside. Barry was very long and to up a lot of space. They lost there leading shot blocker and rebounder not to mention third leading scorer. Just his presence made people not come down low to shoot the ball.

Sure they don't have the Mario Moore's Brian Collins or Demarco Polk's any more but 12aaa is back this year with the best games night in and night out. On Tuesday you might win by 4, but on Friday you may lose to the same team you beat Tuesday by 6. Just ask Antioch who beat Pearl only to come right back the next week to lose to them in the Overton tourney, or Stratford who has beaten Glencliff twice this year but loss to them last night in the Father Ryan Tourney Championship game by 3. Maplewood they are down but hey it's 12aaa and they can win at any time. Don't know much about Hunter's LAne but once again it's 12aaa, Whites Creek started off slow but have now began to roll so who knows what may happen with them. McGavock Overton tourney Champs have been hot winning 12 straight but with district play coming soon will that remain? WIth teams like Antioch, Glencliff, and Stratford back to back on there schedule who knows what may happen. These games are all decided in the fourth quarter or overtime and sometimes even double overtime. These boys are playing ball foreal and you can't say who is going to win what cause it looks good all the way around. If you are a betting man I wouldnt bet on any of these games cause you just might go broke!!!!!!!!

I hear alot on hear mainly from people from forrest about there basketball team and how people dont like them cause they woooop there teams. Personally I dont think they have played anyone,and when they did play a team capable of beating them they lost so what's up forrest you lost to East Literature and there big man Brandon Smith didn't even play :justwrestle:

IN the second round of the overton tourney there are only four teams left Pearl,WHites Creek,ANtioch,McGavock all of district 12aaa. Pearl Cohn plays Antioch today at 5:30 and whites creek gets McGavock at 8:00 In the losers bracket Lavergne plays Overton,and Warren County plays USN

I would take whites station over Bradley Central that's just my opinion. Tough scehdule yet to lose. Do they have a three peat in them I think so

chatt christian and Dca aamong the top teams in 1a. Forrest hasn't played anyone yet to have the hype the crew from forrest thinks they deserve. They are a okay team but have yet to play anyone.

I really don't think Mcgavock will finish as strong as they have started, Glencliff will come down to lack of support for Jamont(They have no other scorers), Stratford and Antioch will come out top this year. It's going to be an interesting year in 12aaa, and home court can play a big advantage in this one.

I never said that all BA had was a big man it's just that every time you hear BA you hear B. Wright, Just like when you hear Stratford you hear H. Harris. That's all I meant by that. They both have a nice supporting cast.

Who will come out on top. Stratford dominance at guard with Henry Harris or Ba's Big Man Brandon Wright. I think Statford will win cause I see no one being able to stop Henry. Look out for Eric Orr and Brandon on the inside should be a good match-up

Hillwood just isn't good and dont blame coach Gamble cause he is one of the best around have you seen the things he has done with Maplewood. In the last four years he has dominated 12aaa beating teams like Stratford (Demarco Polk(2002)and Jaques Kerr(2000) Antioch Mario Moore(2002) McGavock RaShaun ? (2000) all of these teams were very talented Stratford and ANtioch especially they made state title appearances well Antioch Stratford Made it to the sub-state. Coach GAmble has won district, region, state-runner-up 2x I think so don't get on his case cause he has an impressive resume. Hillwod they just don't cut it. Maybe one day

I agree Tywan and Marlon are the best guard duo in 12aaa. With there two big men sidelined due to injury (David and Quincy) they have lead there team to a 4-2 start winning 4 straight and 2-0 in 12aaa
