Just one thing CBarkley-have you ever done it (win 3 regional titles in a row of 6 in 10 years) or your team. I believe before Harpeth won 4 Lewis Co. won a few. You might want to check on that. You keep putting words in peoples mouth. Nobody said LC was great. The whole thread was about LC and Region 5-2A. If you want to look at post look at how many other people put on here about Lewis County. About 4 out of 50 are people from Lewis County. So who is blowing who's horn. Lewis Co. is always competitive. How have your teams done the past few years. Lewis Co. has been to the quarters the last 3 years. Talk about struggling in the playoffs. Why don't you mention how far your teams have been the last 3 years. It is always easy to put a magnifying glass on someone else put on your teams and show us just your playoff record and regional championships. I respect their program you guys must be jealous.

Huntingdon Fans, PANTHERFAN is actually someone from Huntingdon trying to get something started. LC fans are like Huntingdon fans, they love football and most are very good people, good sportsmen and like a competitive ballgame. Lets keep the post clean, for two good football programs. One of the posters stirring everything up does not even play football or any sport. Leave the talking to the players on the FIELD--MERCER. One less time than Huntingdon I think!

First of all Huntingdon is in their region. Second of all if you look at what got Mckenzie to win I think you need to look at their defense first and foremost. The have a good D Coord. Drew will be big for the Rebels. I think they have a good back but not as good as many think. I do think the Rebels lost a lot last year but that playoff experience is vital. Huntingdon, Westview, and several other schools will beat Mckenzie next year. I would not over look Camden and Dresden eigther.

Do you usually Play lewis co.? How are they this year?

There seems to be so much talent in Giles Co. and yet they have not done anything in football. What seems to be the problem.

How did they do this spring? Who did they scrimmage?

Some one close to Lake County Schools reported that Bobby Sharp from Lewis County is being asked to take the job. He is rumored to have close ties to Lake County. Would he really leave Lewis County?

Huntingdon still has a lot. Should win the region easily Camden will be better McKenzie will be good. Riverside lost a lot. Not sure about the rest

What happened yesterday? I thought that the schools voted by about 72% to split. Why isn't the legislative council following what the schools wanted to do. I thought they were suppose to represent what the schools wanted to do?

Adamsville was much improved, the nearly beat Lewis County in Round 1. I'm telling you Riverside will dominate Friday Night! #4 will have at least 175 yards against them. I really think we can throw on them more than we did last time. I think we well be prepared for a rematch with McKenzie in the Quarters! We will back it up!

Don't predict anything from the Waverly game.. Riverside was not up for that Game. We beat Lewis County the first time and they cried about the refs. This time we will beat them at home and they won't have any excuse. Look they could not even tackle us last time and they have a Mr. Football canidate. I have been thinking about that quote all morning, I would challenge that coach to take a week and walk with a public school coach and see what his work habits are, his film study, his practices, his class load, and his basic game week routine. I am not saying private school coach don't do that type of thing, I am just saying how can he make that statement. Not only all these things but I would like to have him accompany me as we go through our off season work out to get OUR kids ready for the next year. None of this entails seeing what need we can fill outside our zoning or county. The Coach that made that statement talks about hard work...how hard do you work when you have SEC level players...In the movie "Blue Chips" it was stated that the coach did his best coaching job when his team went .500. Why did he say this, simply because he got the most out of his talent or lack of talent. I feel like the coach stated that just because some of the schools have not won state championships, they don't work hard. O.K. lets level the playing field and see how hard you work when you play BA every year. I guess Coach Flatt out works him too. Why did Goodpasture, have bad records when they went to D2, was coach Martin not working hard then, I doubt it, he probably got out athleted..

Sources in Maury County state they will throw the bucks down for Lewis County's head Coach Bobby Sharp. Report say that this is not the first time they have talked to Coach Sharp. I heard he will wait till after the season to talk to Mt. Pleasant.

Both teams have a strong running game the one that will win will be able pass the ball the best and stop the run. I think Fairview actually has a better ground game but Waverly might have a better D. Waverly did throw the ball better against Riverside. My Pick Waverly 28 Fairview 21

I think Waverly is worried a little to much about week 10. They need to worry about the Panthers coming to town Friday night. The thing is we will play you Friday and in the First round of the playoffs. If you think yall can run the ball you ain't seen nothing like #4, #24. If you think Lewis Co. ran the ball on you, you are in for a big shock come friday.
