People outside of the program wanted Hoath out for a while and with the new principal they finally got that opportunity. Assistant coaches don’t want to stay in a toxic environment and Spring Hill needs the help. 

So what 7v7s are there coming off of the dead period?

There is turnover with every staff during a coaching change. From what I hear Caudill got to hire everyone on his staff and there were some that he kept. Pretty much the entire staff he hired is now leaving. Multiple reasons for leaving but 1 common denominator

Just because everything seems fine on the surface doesn’t mean things are good when you pull back the layers.  Someone doesn’t walk away during the middle of the season when things are good. And then the entire staff jumps ship once the season ends.

Rumors are true. Not only are coaches leaving but players are starting to exit as well.

I can’t say if he actually said that or not but the statement is true. The OC was way in over his head and pretty much led to kits downfall. If you look back at the talent that Blackman had they severely underachieved offensively.

A high school job is not going to pay more than a power 5 coordinating position but I can rival some fcs jobs. There are some coaches in Texas and Georgia that make 6 figures but not more than 150,000 at the most.

If you haven’t heard what happened to cause shelbyville to let him go after they paid for him to back out of the Siegel job I’m not going to put the man’s business out in here. Palmer burned a lot of bridges in Rutherford when he pulled out of Siegel last minute. He also has a lot of baggage in his personal life. Not to say he wouldn’t be a good coach there.

Severely underachieved at Blackman with the talent they had.

Kinda what I was hinting at. The only teams I’ve seen that have had something to play for and gotten it were Stewarts Creek and Columbia Academy. The rest were at the bottom already.

Imagine being Brentwood and you get Cane Ridge in the first round because they had to forfeit some games because of covid. 

The fairy tale run ends for the pioneers the next 2 weeks.  They will still end up as the 3 seed which is really good in this region.

The varsity really wasn't wing-t this past year.  They tried to spread it out just didn't have the pieces to do it.

Surely there was more than 3 apply.  Maybe they only interviewed 3 people.  I know it will be a difficult place to turn around but hopefully who ever they hired can make the change.
